- Welcome to Master Saga Season 6! @Farfa and @Nyhmnim are back to compete in another round robin version of Saga. Each week all three of us will open packs before dueling each other to win prizes for the next episode. This time, though, we’ve changed several rules to mix things up!

Fun fact: The vast majority of the "Americanisms" that the British like to complain about are just terms/spellings/etc that were popular in England during the 1500's - 1700's, i.e. when America/the colonies were still a part of the British Empire. The English being spoken in England just ended up evolving in a different direction than the language they left in the colonies but modern English people often treat it like the Americans made all of them up.
Another major culprit is that during the end of North America's time as colonies there was a popular movement within language to change the spellings and pronunciations of words to more closely mimic their language of origin, but afterwards (largely out of spite over the colonies/to differentiate themselves from the colonies) a very successful movement occured aimed at "re-Anglicizing" the language

I have an idea for a future season: the sabotage season. Both players open 10 master packs as normal, but then their opponent gets to choose which secret pack they open based on the available ones.
Honestly sounds a lot of fun to watch

to be fair, the rank up was not in the deck, which does make it not as good. It's still good, but that card doesn't apply to his complaint due to him not including it.
How we using the rank up without cloak? Hard draw a card that literally only does something if you are omega ahead?
@@amethonys2798 boots adds a pk card and that rank up that banishes dark monsters also counts as a PK card! its used widely to rank up *i even teched it into blackwing for the raidraptor rank 7* so yeah //

I think a funny implementation for a future season is allowing players to get a pack ban, see where their spite lies, let each contestant ban a pack of their choosing at the start and let funnies ensue.

To be fair, I don’t think any Tenyi player in the history of Yugioh knows what that card does. If I’m playing Tenyi, I’m not thinking of that card
You should really play in Masterduels Unlimited format. You are already doing your own banlist so you might as well start with a clean unlimited cardpool.
Thing is that banned cards are always removed from packs anyway. So at most it will give you a couple of extra copies of random cards.

they manage to unlock the same 7 packs every season. BA, PK, Tenyi/SwS, earth machine, math/SS, eldlich, artifact
Well if you take into consideration that 80% of the pack they unlock are rough / hard to play with ….. they obviously will dive into the strong packs

@@MakuraZalis 100 master packs sounds like alot but it actually isnt when you consider the cardpool of cards in the game. since the master pack is just drawing off random cards, it does not even guarantee you unlocking any packs sometimes since you specifically need SR+ to unlock the secret packs as well
Hey Doug, just throwing a suggestion here. Why not add a Legacy Pack craft slice to the Loser's wheel? One could be 2 N/R and the other 1 SR, that way you could get Unexpected Dai but also missing pieces of many archetypes that are strangely locked in Legacy packs like shadoll hedgehog, some megaliths, beetropers or even the newest penguin support.
This will be added starting ep5! I have a few updates I want to make to the wheel

Am I the only person who noticed that Farfa didn't go into the Swordsoul Pack? The Swordsoul Pack is called "Guardian of the Sacred Summit" and contains only Yang Zing and Swordsoul. He pulled from the Tenyi/Yang Zing Pack "Dragon Spirit".
That packs really bad in sealed. aside from taia longyun everything else is SR and UR and is super restricted going forward. tenyi is pretty flexable in that it can be splashed with more stuff.
@@mark1A100 The issue is the tenyis are literally only going to be good for random fodder. There is a 0% chance Monk lives the banlist especially since Farfa doesn't have anything else worth throwing a ban at.

Been watching some old Master Saga and was reminded of when Dzeeff got 5 Almiraj in one opening. Seeing Farfa get 4 Sahasrara makes me really want to see something the players can do about that. Maybe if you get 2 or 3 repeats of an SR or UR, you can "Craft" them into something else of the same rarity? That way it feels much less punishing in situations like this, where SRs and URs are so important, yet scarce.
Edit: Sorry, hadn't finished Farfa's pulls. I meant to say 5 Sahasrara's.

Maybe it's just me but the "You're a creep" home just isn't remotely funny. It feels over done, and on top of that I feel the need to avoid certain decks entirely because I don't feel like people saying that shit to me.

Odd Eyes Rebellion Dragon was actually an OTK option in Kashtira. If you weren’t XYZ locked, you’d make Absolute in the EMZ, link for Gravity Controller, trigger Absolute for baby Odd Eyes Rebellion, then slap the big one on top. It let the deck swing for 10k damage and Gravity Controller was a really funny out to things like Shangri Ira placed in the EMZ.
The way Doug look at the camera when he said, "I know, I'm trying." has me laughing so hard rn lol. You guys really do work well together to make this enjoyable most episodes. Thanks for a great series to watch! 54:46
I've noticed that the same few packs are always chosen, maybe next season you can give players who choose the higher power packs, fewer packs to open while the lower power packs get an absurd amount to compensate.
Do you really think if someone went 30 packs deep into Neo-Spacian that they could beat 15 of Swordsoul? Of course before opening they have to decide if they want to commit or not.
You forget that a lot of the best archetypes are really high rarity and sometimes packs just don’t have the newer support no matter how good the pack you go in is if you get shit pulls your decks gonna be shit to.

As a PK player, the no ancient cloak isn't that bad. By no means is it good, but the deck can do well enough without it.
The one thing I'd say that really sucks is no rusty. Not having rusty sucks a lot.
Also, as a PK player, Arc Rebellion sucks (in constructed). People need to stop playing it (in constructed)

Doug please for the love of god put Requiem and PK RUM launch in your deck. It’s an easy summon and Requiem is goated in sealed. You had 2 Requiem summons in both your games.

I know he won't go into it, but White Knight of Dogmatika is one of my favorite cards
Not sure how much of an impact this would have, but what if you can use Royal Rares (maybe from just the unlocked packs as a start) as a trade? You can dismantle them for either an extra pack from the ones you pulled that week, or can trade them out from a card of the same rarity from the pack it came from.
I am happy that Farfa pulled with Prank Kids instead of Gem Knight. It might not be as cool/funny, but at least I don't have to listen to him whine about drawing a bad hand or playing a shit deck.

35:02 The word "soccer" comes from "asSOCiation football". It was used to differentiate between the rugby football and association football sports that split out of a need to curb the mob violence of early football. Wouldn't it be better for the player that won 2-0 and the one that won 1-1 to fight first in the next episode? It would give more info for the 0-2 loser of last episode. In case on a 3-way tie (1-1 each), it can simply be random. I've been having this thought since episode 2. Like why does Farfa have to give info about his deck 1st match when he's on a losing streak. Do other people agree? It's just a thought that could make things a bit fair, since loser also has ''worst'' crafts (so far 2 times 2 N/R for the loser's wheel).
I cant believe Dzeef pulled Rebellion Dragon, Requiem XYZ, Break Sword and the PK Rank-up... but for some unhloy reason decided not to play the rankup spell.
