- After the death of his teenage brother Andy, multi-millionaire Matt Trakker uncovers an international criminal organization known as V.E.N.O.M. (Vicious Evil Network Of Mayhem) Trakker gathers a group of friends who, like himself, possess extraordinary talents and creates M.A.S.K. (Mobile Armored Strike Kommand) Their objective; to destroy V.E.N.O.M. and its mastermind - Miles Mayhem, the man responsible for Andy's death.
Hahahaha, this has to be one of the best 'MASK members leaving their day jobs in predicaments' montages yet
The vehicle animation is back on top in this episode!

This episode has some impressive animation. It holds up.

I'll admit . . . . Sly Rax and Miles Mayhem have Grade A mustaches :)
especially Miles Mayhem (it's like the other way round to Visionaries - Leoric - leader of the Spectral Knights, had merely a moustache and the male Darkling Lords - the villains - all had beards, although, in this, Alex Sector - allegiance to MASK, had a beard, whereas Miles Mayhem - leader of VENOM, had merely a moustache)
Sly Rax has a goatee as well (whereas Miles Mayhem just has a moustache) [they definitely wear the same colour of trousers - blue]. Sly Rax’s trousers are blue - not purple, contrary to popular belief (and, likewise / similarly, I reiterate, he has a goatee as well - not just a moustache, ‘contrary to popular belief’). Fans definitely prefer this outfit (Sly Rax’s Piranha gear, and Stiletto mask) to his Pit Stop Catapult outfit / gear, and Saw Blade mask (which he wore in the racing series) [series 2], even if his Saw Blade mask was in the same mould as his old Stiletto mask.
Facial hair is what Megatron and Starscream (every version of them) were missing.

See how (one of the very few episodes as such) Matt Trakker doesn’t get angry when he suddenly finds Scott and T-Bob join him on his mission.

Yes, Scott and T-Bob were one of the most annoying duos (it's *no wonder* they weren't used in season 2's racing series episodes, save a few PSAs) [that, and I definitely wouldn't like them as much as Alex Sector and Miles Mayhem].
It's a wonder with all the lasers and bombs that nobody's killed.
Visionaries even has a trope, on 'TV Tropes', for this - that's the *point* of cartoons - they have to (to make them child friendlier, for the children watching them), as much as possible, try and reduce the violence (especially deaths), hence they have laser shooting, rather than realistic ammunition. This definitely did apply to Visionaries, where *that* show had to have its violence level reduced.
Gloria left her students. That's not very disciplined teaching.

Can you imagine if they scripted Scott to not be annoying?
Yeah - imagine if - Scott and T-Bob joined the former’s dad, on one of his missions, and (exactly why Matt Trakker gets angry if and when the two join him on his missions) one of Matt Trakker’s agents gets hurt (similar to when Hondo got hurt, in ‘the Deathstone’), thanks to VENOM - Scott’ll say (especially near T-Bob, so as to have T-Bob hear Scott say it) ‘I wish I’d listened to dad’ (hence, in ‘the Deathstone’, it’s no wonder Matt Trakker doesn’t know if he should ‘hug or spank Scott’, when he knows Scott is the culprit for Hondo getting hurt, for Scott and T-Bob joining Matt Trakker on his mission against VENOM)

Damn, this episode is violent. Gloria and Bruce commit murder with no F's given. Vanessa abuses a prisoner as Miles laughs along sadisticly 😮😮😮

That’s Hondo MacLean in his original outfit from Firecracker, but with what looks like Blaster 2 mask from Hurricane. Coloring is slightly different from the toy.

Yes, according to the pack-in comic that came with the toys.
Probably why VENOM not only can operate the vehicles, but maintain them as well.

No. With Scott's lack of discipline, he needs to be sent to St. John's Military School in Kansas. They'll straighten him out fast. By the time he graduates, he'll be ready to join M.A.S.K.! Of course the tuition is pretty expensive, but as wealthy as Matt Trakker is, that won't be a problem.
“How does a first year cadet have more combat field experience than a Force Recon Marine?”
“Well, something’s up. He got an A in SERE training. We don’t offer that to cadets!”
That's not right, I works have wiped Scott's butt for not listening and than her would have been sent home with the baby sitter
