Lynn Nicholas is one of my favorite authors of history. Her added backstories and attention to detail compliment the amount of excitement she has for her work, and draws the reader in. The subject of art is compelling as it is, but what happened to all of Belgium and France's artworks during WWII is the most fascinating topic to me. I hold your grandmother in the highest esteem, along with the world's great art.
This lady is wonderful and absolute class.
