    If it's a 'no no' for artists to take their work to a gallery without an appointment then the gallery owner shouldn't waste the artist's time by looking at the work just to turn them down. Unless it's a mutual thing and the artist is just seeking advice. Otherwise kindly arrange an appointment date and take it from there. And I don't believe in this "not ready for prime time" thinking. Every aspiring artist is a diamond in the rough. If the talent is there and we are able to then we should support that talent. Have them in a group showing. Wow
