Absolutely in love with his voice and the way he sings, it's so unique.
Corey has real emotion in his songs. I felt his pain, sorrow, anger, and revealing the truth. His music actually saved me from my suicide attempt when I was fourteen. I was severely bullied as a young teenager and had been talked down upon from the popular girls from middle school. I used to be a chubby girl and I was very insecure about my weight, I tried not eating for awhile and was bulimic. I was about to strangle and hang myself with a pants belt while listening to a music Playlist before my final farewell. Until, the playlist unknownly glitched and started to play " through glass" by Stone Sour. Corey's voice filled in my head and it made me realize I didn't need to do this to myself and I'm stronger than I thought. So I put the belt off from my neck and I continued listening in to his music. He saved my life and since then, I've grown to learn to love myself better. I'm in my twenties now, stopped being bulimic for a few years now, I've been eating a healthy diet and I've been working out in the gym constantly. I'm incredibly grateful for his existence, him helping me and all of us through dark times. I love you, Corey and all of us love you as well. ❤️

Me and my friend were on a bus trip last year and I asked her to listen some music, she was rolling for Aerosmith but I saw this tittle on her playlist. I was kind of shocked, I love Slipknot and I didn't expect she also does, she really doesn't look like the type who likes numetal. Well then we listened to this album, IOWA, and then some of Korn, SOAD, and before we noticed we had reached our stop she has really good taste. Weeks after that we Started playing together, I play the drums, she the guitar but well with this pandemic it wasn't possible to see us frecuently this year. Anyway keep it up guys, you never now when you can find such a SIC friend like you.

I enjoy a lot of different genres these days but I have nobody other than my brother to thank for introducing me to slip at a young age, and while I love the band(still listen to em to this day) their music opened me up to so many other bands, much harder in the metal genre including new bands still putting out music like this 30 mf years later

I still remember the moment I first listened to this on my portable cd player. I was 11-12. I had a huge smile on my face. I had no clue this type of music existed. Not really into it now, but it opened my ears and mind at the time.

I used to go to a catholic school, so yeah my teachers didn't like this kind of stuff, then along comes my brother 4 years older than me and already in highschool making new friends, learning about new things and sharing some of those experiences with me, he decides to show me this album, and after a creepy intro, my eardrums explode and so does my brain...
Ever since that day, I did my best to not let those nuns and lame teachers ruin the good moments of my life: Nu Metal, violent videogames, 90's anime and TCGs will remain some of my best memories, and all thanks to this song...

My mom gave me a black sabbath record when i was in elementary school and nurtured my journey into metal head happily when i showed her slipknot she was impressed
I still get chills and repeatedly rewind those screams at 2:43 17 years later. (Got the album on 2000 when I turned 10.) That's raw, gut-wrenching, REAL fuckin screams. Pure goddamn emotion that only slipknot delivers on a particular level.
