La Plata Rail Days 2024 - Amtrak 3 departs La Plata station with a shave-and-a-haircut for us!

Back at La Plata and taken on Sunday June 30th, this is Amtrak train #3, the westbound Southwest Chief, en route to Los Angeles from Chicago. This was taken west of the depot by the two spur tracks. Nice of the engineer to give us a shave-and-a-haircut salute!
