Helpful video! I have the plhv2, but not sure I want to get the okw for longer range. The advertised runtimes are the same - is the plhv2 more efficient? (I thought the focused reduced lumen okw would last longer)
What about photonic barrier penetration? Could the okw serve a roll when crystal clear visibility is not an option? Glass/Haze/Fog/smoke/etc. would like to see it. Harder to simulate.
V2 benefits: great flooding of area, so you can see much more directly in front of you V2 Cons: still decent throw, but not as much as the OKW. Will struggle to illuminate objects at longer ranges. OKW benefits: amazing throw, can illuminate objects over 400 yards away, also can blind very well in close proximity OKW Cons: very narrow beam of light in close quarters, won’t flood immediate area with as much light Hope this helps! Basically, if this were me, I’d mount the V2 to an AR pistol/SBR/PCC build, while I’d mount the OKW to a full-length AR or more of a “battle rifle” set up. But both could work in either scenario, just depends if you want more immediate area flood or the ability to reach out and illuminate further out!
@@Aripigetitin24 I known its late reply, but for handgun the PLHv2 for sure. Okw fits more to longer range. Modlite also has handheld lights as well with PLHv2 head
Could you put them side by side with an olight warrior pro? I know we are talking about milspec vs chinisium but I just wanna see if their output is what they claim especially for the warrior x pro 2100 lumen with 66000 candela 🤔🤔🤔
That's about the same as my NEBO 450 lumens light that I can fit in a shirt pocket. And my nebo 3200 lumens light would crush his test. And I'm considering a 6000 lumens NEBO light also. Basically for emergency usage. And I'll stick with NEBO for now. And both are rechargeable and I've gotten three solar rechargeable packs for them and my streamlight protac HLX weapons lights. And last winter we had a power outage and to be honest the rechargeable lights came in handy. It's to bad NEBO does not get much recognition, and from my experience with them they are among the top tier of flashlights on the market today.
Short and sweet, FINALLY a straight to the point video.
"If you're light is as bright as the sun, this is what you'd see" had me in tears 😭
Very informative video, gets right to the point and has all the important information. Definitely helped me decide which one I'm getting. (The OKW)
So glad I could help!
Excellent video - I appreciate your respect for details (camera settings) and for our time!
Thank you kindly
Great video and thank you for the long distance comparison.
Dude I really appreciate this video, especially the reasonable inclusion of camera settings. I decided to get both lights lol
Looks like a park at the Phoenix, Arizona metro area.
Thanks for the video footage comparison!
I have Convoy C8+ in Osram KW CSLNM1 same LED as the Modlite OKW, but throws 1km, puts out about 250,000 candela and 650-700 lumens.
Perfect video. And, thank you for not including background music.
Thanks for posting! Looks like you are in AZ. Great work!
GREAT INFO JUST THE INFO I NEED TO MAKE A CHOICE! THANK YOU
I have the OKW. Its like the fucking bat signal hahaha
I just ordered an OKW! I can’t wait to get it on my rifle!
Doesn’t look like much of a difference
Great video! I decided after this! Thank you.
Nobody mentions camera settings! Revolutionary

I think they’re about the same, really - I don’t see either to be glaringly more efficient than the other. PLHv2 is the way to go IMO.
Never thought I'd ever see my neighborhood on UA-cam.hello neighbor
Make sure you say hello if you see me around the neighborhood 🤣
@@Shawner556 Will do... honestly love how peaceful and friendly the neighborhood is.
wow awesomely to the point and great comparison! Ty,
Great video thank you
Compare both against the cloud defensive mhc high candela
That was fantastic! Thanks man.

I think this is my neighborhood in QC, crazy

I instruct out here. Fee free to follow if you’re interested in classes!
Which one would you recommend me sir or which one is better
PLHv2
Winner is the v2. Okw throw isn't much better than v2, with none of the spill.
OKW is basically a laser. I prefer SOME spill.
Same
Does the modlite plhv2 18650 handheld only have one mode?
thank you!
GREAT VIDEO
What is the benefit and con of each one?
