So, the teams can cut from 1/99 to 99/1, but most cuts will be between 40/60 and 60/40. A successful cut can defined as being 50/50. Cuts are more likely to be near 50/50 rather than the extremes like 1/99, allowing the estimation of how many cuts fall within the acceptable range. With 99 possible outcomes, you consider: - exact successful outcome (50). - a few close outcomes (e.g., 49.5 and 50.5), but we focus on 50 for simplicity. Assuming 10% of outcomes fall within 49.5 to 50.5, you can estimate a 10% success rate per round. Since rounds are independent, the probability of success in all three rounds is: Probability(success) = (0.10)^3 = 0.001 All in all it’s like .1% I may be wrong but eh, sue me!
this happened to my friend group. we were screaming our heads off in disbelief, because it was a double coins minigame and it ended up absolutely breaking the economy
Nintendo once again proves that they have superior realistic steak physics. The previous Mario party had the game where you cook steak and it also looked incredibly lifelike for no reason lol
Paper Mario too had an absurdly realistic and good looking steak lol. Just goes to show that the switch doesn't have bad graphics, but that it just depends on the devs.
i mean they have but its been generations of diminishing returns. now, the difference are like negligible if the developers know the tricks to the hardware

This happened 14th November in Shirakami Fubuki's Mario Party Jamboree livestream. It's in Japanese but everyone absolutely blew up when they tied. Nobody thought it was possible.
I actually did this legitimately by accident in a game with some buddies. We both won one round, then managed to cut the same percentage in the third round so we tied.
Some friends and I also managed to tie in a game of Prime Cut last week! Not quite like this, though. My team won a round, the other team won a round, and we both tied on one. But hey, we all finished first AND it was a bonus minigame that turn, so we all got 20 coins out of it!
Why does it seem like the further we go with Mario party games the more they have to do with things that adults do. It's like the developers grew up with us
Wtf was the total percentage of those 3 specific outcomes to happen?!

I just know they made this minigame solely so that the animators could flex their photorealistic food animation
The correct way to do it is to both cut the minimum on All steaks by moving as far left/right as possible
