This is the ULTIMATE VERSION! SO much to chew on and consider vocally, visually, and in terms of acting! Thanks @AnotherLaurant for keeping to your promise so soon! First of all, I reiterate my love for Tomoyo Kurosawa as an actress. Such talent, sensitivity and interpretative ability at such a young age! She made the lyrics real with every acting decision she took. A true star indeed! ❤ It was a lithe shocking to hear the different voices take up lithe sections of the verse moving from Yuki, to Haruka, then Kaori, to Miki, then EnMari and Remi. I am so used to Yuuka's voice and emotional expression so I'm still getting used to the lead tone switching so much in this version. The harmonies were unmatched and are the reason this ensemble of singers together just made this song. Inoue Azumi was as delightful and reliable as ever! *Highlights:* 2:45 Kaori beautiful line going to a pure bright head voice. 2:57 EnMari didn't sound as connected to the pop / rock singing style as I'd have liked. Remi was a bit better but still… 3:10 brought smiles to my face with the bright forward tone of Haruka and Yuki I think before everyone came in for the harmony. Energetic! 4:15 Mari sounded fuller and more connected bringing in the bridge section, then it seemed like the volume of each singer decreased after Kaori. 🤔 until the beautiful harmony. 4:43 Yuuki and Haruka absolutely delighted me with their unison line (so bright like the stars in the sky)! 5:53 All the voices singing together in unison and with harmony coming in. I'm happy! 🎉🎉🎉❤❤❤
I watched again and caught several of the cast smiling and grinning (and generally admiring) at witnessing Tomoyo's acting genius. I saw Yuuki multiple times, Haruka and even Revo, grinning at different times.
@@erufailon4723 Thank You. The version by Fukunaga during the Linked Horizon concert was too epic! I don’t think anyone else can surpass that. She just has this fierce but soft demeanor and cutting voice.

I was going to come here to talk about how insanely good Tomoyo's acting is but it seems everyone already is talking about it - deservedly so
It would a lesser performance without her being there. I fully understood the story of the character because of her presence
And how she connected with the singers from 3:29, bringing them into the acting like spirits watching and telling her story.
