What an incredible way to honor the legacy of the heroes who all sacrificed so much for the freedom we often take for granted 🇺🇸
My great-grandpa was a paratrooper at Normandy-he would jump out of planes (on *skis)* behind enemy lines. I only got to meet him a few times, but hearing the stories of his service has been really inspiring. Thanks for reminding me of those stories... and it's so cool you got to feature actual veterans in it!
Thank you so much for sharing the story with us bro. Your Great Grandfather was a hero 🫡🫡🫡
when is the next vid coming out
Happy 100
B3 your one of my favourite UA-camrs also when is the Disney blind bag series coming out
Your grandad was a hero 🇺🇲🫡
My great grandfather also was in WWII in the Philippines. My dad and I watched your video together and really enjoyed it. Thank you!

you have to remember the heros are the ones that died
I support your movement as a historian
I'm going to be honest. At first, I was kind of worried that historical accuracy would not be it it important in this video because there is a slight error in the thumbnail (the prominent American soldiers holding a German gun and that also happens throughout the video quite often) which is not a big deal but having the actual veterans to replicate actual stories. Just made this video so good
My great grandpa fought in the Second World War for the Polish but after they got taken over and the Germans started to invade Russia he was drafted into the soviet army. He got captured in 1944 was sent to a P.O.W camp escaped and later on took part in the march to Berlin. Sadly, I only got to meet him once or twice but my dad would tell me stories about him fighting in the war. 🇵🇱
Sorry for your loss😢
I'm sorry for your loss I feel proud of him for the sacrifice

@@amospew7324 bro what the heck that's not cap!
I see many of our great-grandfathers fought in WWII, mine was stationed in Papua New Guinea! Thanks for everyone who served and people serving now, you make the country a better place!
My great grandfather was one of 5 boys in his family to fight in WW2 at the same time. He served in the Philippines, one served in North Africa and later took part in the invasion of Sicily, another fought somewhere else in the Pacific, and the remaining two fought in France and Germany.
My great grandfather's brother was captured by the SS after half his unit was killed in December 1944. He was marched for weeks without food or water, and was beaten by guards. At one prison camp, he was saved by a Wermacht captain who bought food for the allied prisoners.
All five of them returned home.
That is amazing. 🫡❤️
🫡 wow that is amazing 👏
My Grandmas Dad fought in North Africa and had A Cousin in the philipines as well both survived
My grandpa fought in veitnam
i remember hearing from my friend that his great grandpa served in the battle of the bulge, gotta say, his great grandpa is a hero
Such a unique video to make, super great way to honour those most affected by it 🙏

He forgot that the weapons are supposed to be M3 Greace, M1 Garand, M1 Carbine, M1A1 Thompson, B.A.R and other. 💀
Great video! This was a great way to be both entertaining and educational on this subject. It’s also awesome that these heroes will have their stories heard by thousands of people who otherwise wouldn’t have
Happy 100 John, thank you for your service!
Banger studs! I love ww2 and Lego! You are honestly reinventing content creation for Lego. No body else is doing videos like you.

Awesome vid Studs! Loved all of the MOCs and the individual veteran stories
Happy 100 John! Man I love this video!
Happy 100, Captain Jon! Thank you for your service!
He was a true hero
There are so many inaccuracies in this video like how so many Americans are useing the wrong weapons and how german tanks that weren't even made yet but used during the wrong timeline
Happy 100 John. This is the video I’m going to rewatch the most
Thank you ❤️❤️❤️
Happy 100 🎉 Jon
I love the accurate builds that still respected the veterans well. Hearing they stories was very interesting and I can’t imagine the horrors they saw
Happy 100th John! Also did your great grandfather fly in a B-24? I absolutly love those planes.
happy 100 John!🎉 I can't even imagine what horror while you felt there.
my great grandpa severed in ww2 as a artillery unit and a general) my other great grandpa severed in ww2 as a fighter pilot and had a epic battle with another plane and shot down and taken as a prisoner but survived) those people were in my family
YES, YES, YES. A epic video, what a great way to honor everyone who fought in this war.
Happy 100, captain john
I deeply respect people who fought in the army, especially the. specially those three, they sacrificed everything for us.
Happy 100 John!!
Incredible video, your best and most meaningful one yet! Also, I’ve been wanting to create some WWII Mocs for a while now, where did you primarily get the figures from? Ive had my eye on united bricks, but not sure if there’s a better place to get them
Happy 100 captain John!
Meaningful and awesome video
I like how you recreated scenes based on personal accounts
I was enjoying this video up until 1:40 when he gave the American troops a panzerschreck and put a MP40 on the back of the Sherman.
Yep
shhh, he’s a good youTuber
Banger video, Logan- but more importantly, I love the message behind it. Two of my great uncles served for the United States and fought in North Africa during World War II.
My grandpa fought in the Vietnam War he got 2 purple Hearts and still lives to this day
I love how much effort u put in these lego vids. Wish i was as talented as u!

Happy 100 to CaptainJohn! Respect for your service during normandy ❤❤❤
YES! Welcome to the club :). LEGO Star Wars and WW2 are a great combo.
"operation torch is were america entered the european theater" historians: bro its in africa
The mocks are great but there’s just to many inaccuracies like at least try to use the right weapons.
Happy 100 John

He got them form me I provided all the guns and weapons and vehicles and figs
Cool vid, however there are some historical inaccuracy in for example some of the guns u used for the minifgs. Howver cool vid fr
Happy 100 thx for serving the country
Happy 100 John I love you
my great grandpa was a flight mecaink in ww2 at a base in alaska
and somebody in my family was a famous gunner on a boat he was killed in action saddly by a kamikazie ( i dont know his name though)
(they both are american) ive been a fan since 30k
3:50 just like how the boat is American but the crew is German
Happy 100🎉🎉🎉
i never knew my great grandpa so i have no idea if he fought in ww2 but i know none of my grandparents or parents served but may god bless those who are still around. i just subscribed and i already love it keep up the job
My great grandfather was a bombardier in a Boeing B-29 Superfortress. He never saw combat. The only thing of his we still own is his U.S. Army Air Corps formal jacket
Ich erzähle nicht meine Familiengeschichte...

happy 100🥳
If my great grandpa John Dale was still alive you should have done his story. He was at Wake island when it was captured and shot down the first Japanese ship that attacked the island. He became a pow and eventually won a Purple Heart for it
1:36 I don’t mean to be that guy but the 3rd is wielding a Panzerfaust, which is a German anti tank weapon, and as a history nerd I get triggered by this
I can sit and hear grandpa tell history story for hours
My great grandpa was in ww2. He helped drop the bombs on Japan. He lived to be 101 and died 2022. I had met him a lot in my live. It was very devastating to hear that he had pasted. He developed dementia at the age of 85/90 I forget which age. Sometimes he would think he was still fighting during the war. We would ask questions like “were did I put my helmet”. When he was about to pass he would see people that weren’t there. Rest In Peace. I miss you.
Cool but a lot of inaccuracies like a American having a STG44 in 1942.
Happy 100th birthday 🎂 🎉
I’m proud for Frederick that he’s still alive🎉
The bravery and dedication these soldiers had was incredible. I admire the soldiers ability to keep persevering in these times. They sacrificed their lives to fight the Axis power, and they defeated them. Even though i don’t live in the US, god bless these soldiers
May all brave hero’s who fought in WWll rest in peace I am a big war history fan
love to here about the heros of the Ww2! Happy 100!
As an American I can tell the troops to protect and serve us are very brave and strong and for the second soldier I give him a Happy's 100s for him🙏
Happy 100🎉
happy birthday john
Historical inaccuracies my job let’s go: 1:06 German motorcycle with American MG and motorcycles very different to ones Germany used 1:18 American soldier with bolt action rifle which looks like kar98k (German) 1:27 tank is inaccurate and has a German smg (MP40) on top and also flag is just wrong and so is camo should be kahki 1:35 Harley’s team has russian and German guns including the DP27, PPSH41, kar98k and stg44, the stg44 does not exist yet 1:50 German soldier has a panzerchrek which doesn’t exist yet 3:41 more inaccurate guns 5:20 another bad tank which is missing water equipment is not correctly shaped and wrongly coloured 5:33 Soviet plane at D-day? Not even proper Soviet 5:35 more bad guns 5:36 anti aircraft weapon is anti tank weapon and wrong camo for d-day 5:36 German with American gun 5:40 American with German rocket launcher 6:33 not a howitzer that’s a German anti tank gun known as pak 40 with wrong camo 6:50 this part is rlly insulting as I’m in Royal Air Force air cadets (RAFAC) and obsessed with aviation, those are not planes that 2nd one scientificly cannot fly either 7:46 more bad guns 7:50 pacific theatre bomber not seen in Europe 8:05 that LMG thing bugging me 8:18 wrong hat
No attention was put on accuracy which is sad and a lot more could have been done I see no effort in this and I get rlly triggered by things like this so sorry for making you look bad but I got triggered hope you learned something new
Btw I did miss out some differences such as uniforms as I not best at them
bruh read the pinned comment

Pinned comment...
Ye that just says some weapons additionally you didn’t have to be an expert but you could have done research before the video
No offence but it was kinda triggering watching that
I might be a bit picky but you gave axis weapons to the allies and allied weapons to the axis. For example in your first build you give the German motorcycle gunner and American M1919 30 Cal. Light machine gun, and gave Harley a German kar 98 k rifle not to mention the German MP40 smg on the back of the American tank ( an actual American m4 Sherman ) and his friends who have a ww1 Lewis gun, a Russian PPSH smg, another kar 98k and German panzer Faust and panzersherk .
*why am i not surprised this video was sponsored by world or warships*
another great vid
Great job man love the video, looks like the captain on the ship has a iron cross on his shirt, that’s kinda wierd
Happy 100 years my boy John
The army is changing their dress uniform to the ones from WWII and I love it. They are so comfortable
The ww2 solider watching him build the battle in which he was captured and murdered: 😐
I had a great grandpa that served in WW2 he was a legend he had got almost blown up by a grenade thrown at him . But the disturbing part is while he was in a med bed he said while laying there he woke up and he could see his heart as it beated he also had his arm blown off😐
Man is a Hero
My grandpa was a German SS troop And he met hitter but he got shot and killed by a American soldier
Happy 100 captain and thank you for your service
My grate grate grandfather fought in world war 1 and my grate grandfather fought in world war 2. Thankfully they both lived I’ve even got some Momentos.
Happy 100!!!
