  • A look at the small remote cove of Piskey Cove, occasionally also known as Piskies Cove, located around midway between Prussia Cove and Cudden Point, Near Penzance in East Penwith area of West Cornwall.
This secluded beach really is beautiful, and is made of golden sand, unlike nearby Prussia Cove where the sand is a grey colour. The beach is only accessible via the coast path, and is quite difficult to get to, as it involves going down an overgrown path filled with blackthorn (so make sure you keep your arms and legs covered, the opposite to what I did which resulted in me getting scratched more than once!). At the end of the overgrown path, its a relatively easy climb down the rocks to the sand.
The beach is in the parish of St Hilary, and the nearest car park is the car park for Prussia Cove. I wouldn't recommend visiting Piskey Cove unless you're prepared for some difficulty getting there, and I definitely wouldn't recommend taking any beach stuff down there, as unless you use a winch, you won't be able to get it down very easily!

You sure know my weakness Lucas, craggy foreshores. Those caves look tempting to explore. Thanks.

So sweet of a cove I want to jump in the water!
