Never understood the Abba reference. Not a super fan of Abba that know all of their discography, but def listenen to their hits quite a lot. And i can't draw a parallel between Abba and Ghost's sounds. So where does this idea come from?
I'll have to check it out, mainly focusing onndiscovering songs currently but may pop back for live versions (for ones i didnt watch live) in the future
I saw them in Toronto! Some of my favourite pictures were from Year Zero because of the pyrotechnics and the silhouettes of the ghouls. It was amazing.
Unfortunately didn't get to catch them at Download this year otherwise we may have heard it there, maybe one day we'll see it live. I might check that one out off camera
I see what you mean there is a couple of ghost songs I just didn't get into the first few times, but there is something that kept dragging me in to give it one more listen, but then I stopped trying, and then I noticed I started singing the songs in my head now they are some of my favourite songs, so just hang in there
I’m a HUGE fan of ghost, I hate when tiktok uses their songs, they just ruin them and people start spreading misinformation about its meaning. (Like Mary on a Cross, people say it’s about drugs but Tobias said himself that it’s about a dying friendship)
I hate that a shitty cover of this is being used on TikTok, but at the same time, if it leads more people to Ghost then 🤷♂️ I guess. Year Zero has never been one of my favorites despite it being considered a core song by a lot of Ghost fans, but I do like the song. Keep'em coming! 🤘
Tbh i can't comment on the cover as i haven't actually heard it in a video since listening to this weirdly lol. Yeah it's not one of my favourites but it still quite good, definitely a middle ground song. Looking forward to finding more!
I mean it’s ESSENTIAL to their whole act and image, and if were to not be on any live setlist, the fans would rightfully riot. It’s quintessential Ghost.
The meme uses a cover of this hence why the meme is dumb and this is awesome.
I didn't realize it was a cover to be fair as this is my first time hearing the actual song, but do really enjoy that chant!
After becoming a big fan a ghost, i forgot it was ever a meme
Haha, to be fair im quickly becoming a fan of them
You will find yourself going around humming ”hell Satan, Archangelo”. That’s what happens when Satanism meets ABBA.
Hahah, Love the Satanism + Abba combo. I keep having the end of the chant pop into my head throughout the day so i'm just randomly thinking 'LUCIFER!'

@@DaP84 Very melodic and catchy music, very swedish.
@@jonasmandersson alright, the comparison is on that "shallow" level. Could call it Max Martin metal lol
@@DaP84 Well, I think that would be more offensive but I get your point. Max Martin is more shallow than ABBA and didn’t perform his own music.
Belial , behemoth, Beelzebub… asmodius , satanas , lucifer. Thats the chant 😊
Thank you, was actually meaning to look it up lol
Need to do the live version of this song....its awesome!
I'll have to check it out, mainly focusing onndiscovering songs currently but may pop back for live versions (for ones i didnt watch live) in the future
I see you also witnessed papas “seven inches of satanic panic!”
lmao, that is the best way that could have been referred to, thank you
If you want to see one of their amazing live performances of this song, I recommend this one!
I'll check it out although likely wouldnt make a 2nd video for the same song unless i come back in the future for specific love ones
They were so good in Austin. Someone recorded the whole thing too

This song deserves to be heard live. The live versions are amazing. Especially the one from Hellfest 2016.

Honestly the songa sort of peirce your brain and just slowly start to make you sing along to them, but i cant complain, many great songs

I still don’t understand how people listen to mary on a cross and think it’s about drugs, it makes no sense
didn't even realize Mary on a cross was being seen that way lol
@@jsghostfan agreed
Yay
