- George Hinton climbs aboard the ultra-compact Volkswagen camper from Concept Multi Car to test its claims to be perfect for those who want a vehicle to be just as much a car as a campervan. The base vehicle is the Volkswagen Caddy Maxi Life MPV and Concept Multi Car fit it with furniture kits from Reimo. Read the full test report on pages 96-98 in the May 2018 issue of the Caravan and Motorhome Club Magazine or on our blog at www.caravanclub.co.uk/blog/pr...

Kitchen stays everything goes 😝 i like that your able to stand up 👍
Good review, very helpful. Thanks.
Such a wholesome video! Thanks :)
I have one and I love it.
Nice vehicle but extraordinarily expensive, you can buy 2 Possl Campster for the same price.
I`d be concerned about the bed being supported by the cupboard catches.
Another great conversion! Love it!
A bit costly yes but for a couple or a single its perfect if you live in a city with small parking spaces. If you check YT there is a lot of DIY building videos that can reduce the cost significantly but not everyone have the facilities/tools to build it so I think this looked very nice. I will build one myself when I get my finger out :)
i like your idea.
did you do the DIY by yourself?
Hi there. If this is like a mini California Ocean, is it possible to get a Caddy ‘Beach’ ? I.e. no cooking just a pop up with bed top & bottom? If so please let me know where I can acquire in the uk. Thank you!
Well, there is in Germany and I guess the package will fit in RHD too. So maybe you can ask Volkswagen Germany if they sell the products seperately.
UK release of Caddy California is imminent
How many inches is the double bed options?
Hi Francesco, you can find full information on this link.....bit.ly/2ZAWoJ5. ^Tracy
Qué fácil es la vida en Australia, solo naces ahí y ya tienes la vida resuelta, nada de que preocuparse, qué fácil la tienen unos pocos
Maybe you should review some microphones next. ;-)
Caddy maxi = perfection
"Almost 4 feet" width is NOT a double bed!
Can only hear the music, it’s like watching a silent movie.
Sorry to hear that Base Camper but I have checked the video and the presenter is clearly audible.
But why do we need music with everything? Aren't his words of sufficient interest?
same here, the presenter just sounds muffled 😞
Agreed the presenters voice is muffled and lost under the music
No problem ear with hearing
Looks better than California Ocean. Love this vehicle. How much in your local?
The on the road price for the vehicle tested was £43,979
Thank you.

Gosh. That's a bit pricey.
@@CaravanandMotorhomeClub worth every penny
Where do you buy one?
The Reimo website is www.reimo.com. You will be able to find details on there.
boxes under the bed, single seat in back removed for ice box
For the price of it and being sold in the 21st century I'd expect more that "sprite musketeer" camping facilities. Come on Reimo you can do better than that. My 1986 T25 has higher quality fittings
Pity the tedious musak is louder than the presenter.
Where's the portoloo?
Motel. Spa etc... restaurant. ..tssts.
You can remap those and get decent power and torque
is this a caddy maxi?
Hi, it is and it's been converted into a Reimo campervan. ^Tracy
Hi. Thanks for the question. The base vehicle is the Caddy Maxi Life. Hope this answers your query.
Lots of tyre kickers on here
where is the toilet?
They are call nappies
If it's good enough for Jeremy Corbyn, it's good enough for me.
I got it. 😅
£43,000.... for that?!

where's the toilet?
It's that green bushey area near were your parked.
What a load
I think it's for rich people, who like to cook and eat cramped on 50 square centimeters. Only why?
Zero storage!!!
Tsssss ...thts not a 🏠! Tsss... Good solution he made.
What a dreadful conversion.
Pointless without toilet
Why did you have to drive around before showing off your camper van why couldn't you just show us everything there instead of driving somewhere else to show off where your shower and toilet 🚽 not good.
