Awesome mate, awesome, as always. Kent this time, The Garden of England, used to live in Canterbury, loved the countryside around that town, cant ever forget it, it haunts me. Thanks mate.
Pleasure, once again. You've just watched one of my last walks, as I think I only did 2 more after this one. Moved out of London and am now not yet back into the swing...will get there, hopefully!
I did this section a couple of weeks ago on a glorious Sunday with clear blue skies and warm sunshine and fields of golden wheat so it is interesting to see it on a different type of day and time of year. I really enjoyed this section as the walking was very flat and pleasant in comparison to the section I had done the day before from Cuxton to Hollingbourne which had lots of ups and downs
Thanks for another interesting walk, albeit a while ago now! Took me a while to get the tree with little apple-like fruit, but it is a Whitebeam, aka chessapple, or white hazel, family Rosacea. White felt on backs of leaves [can be seen in your close-up 16.20] and smooth bark. Apparently Queen Victoria skated on that 40 acre lake 27.40 [useless fact of the week!] belonging to Eastwell Manor, now a Champneys Hotel and Spa.
Cornishview north Thanks for that! We've had a range of guesses on it, mainly apple-based. I've just done 2 walks in North Cornwall, which will b uploaded in time. Don't know if your 'handle' reflects your location? ;-)
Yes, it does; I look out on Port Isaac Bay across fields from my home. I look forward to seeing where you were, and what weather you had. It hasn't been too bad this year, but its always changeable on the north coast, with a tendency to fog in high pressure when everyone else is basking! I do hope your hip is holding up to all this activity?
A bit further North than where I was, but all will be revealed. Sporting a rare sun-tan today! Lovely part of the world. The hip seems o.k, thanks, after quite a tough work-out ;-)
Yeah, that's it,from kintbury to newbury, we did it one year for the round table, lol, My dad dressed up as the incredible hulk, and I was a punk, back in the day,😂.

This is truly enchanting, thank you! :)

Yes, well, all the best and look forward to more of your walks when you can. :)

Good to hear! I seldom return to a walk once 'done', so that's interesting input ;-)
Awesome :)
Thanks Grace!
(Apologies for the delay; been moving/not walking of late).

Alright mate,it's me snort, I've just had to tell you that it's the crafty craft race soon. If your familiar.
I'm not, but I believe it's a craft race down on the Kennet, which will be on-line this year, again? May Day.🤔
