The upper control arm they tried to install in the beginning is actually for the right side not the left. They probably noticed when there was no way to mount the ride height sensor. Also the noise is caused by water getting into the ball joint causing corrosion
Bjorn, thanks for being a good person. It's pleasure to see people like you still exist. I was impressed by Thai people when I've been in your homeland. You are such nice people, kind , polite and humble. Thanks for your motivation that you haven't gave up against racist people. You're not two faced like majority of people around. Take care and all the best !
You lucky bastard with Optimus Prime! I've got a damn lemon. Yesterday I change my second air suspension compressor and valve block. So far this year HVAC cable harnes and every controll module there is inside left side FWD, also some type of memory chip module as well. But now I suddenly get black screen every morning instead!
Terrific! Interesting to see the belly of the beast, and to hear the car given high praise by a knowledgeable mechanic. Mine is some distance from 5 years and 165k miles. But good to know that Tesla makes a solid car, good for the long haul.
It is just a joke, nothing else... That is an awesome car but the fuel consumption is for real ridicously high... 😄 Probably it has less range than a LR Model 3 🤣
I used to own a tank, an old Mercedes silver 420SEL. I was stopped at a light, when a moron in an SUV plowed into the rear at 60 kph The great Merc bumper prevented injuries and I could drive away. The front of his SUV was toast.
Long time ago this car had a problem with front motor axles vibration and noise when driving with low or high suspension. At the time you said there was no fix yet, a replacement would just get the same problems again. Has Tesla fixed this problem?
Oh yesss! A fossil v ev race teslabjorn style with a V12 & nassir👌. I cant tell you how much im looking forward to that shit. Uncle bjorn please please please make it happen. You the man!!!
Hi bjorn nasir. Great that you are using the model x to gain experience doing future repairs. That you have access to the tesla toolbox is cool. You may want to try the following with airsuspention. My model is in normal setting hight too low in my opinion. The suspension is also very stiff in normal setting. In high setting (not super high) it is much better, unfortunately this height can only stay up to 59 km/h. now my question. Is it possible to increase the calibration with teslatoolbox. So if, for example, the standard is 14 cm, set the calibration to 10 cm, so that the car is standard 4 cm higher. If this works I am curious what that does to the very high setting, the suspension will be stiffer or not and will there be still enough margin when rebounding. It will be great if you try out different height options. Keep up the great work, and love the way you are reporting your experiences with EVs.
For comparison 250k km is about the average range after which an ICE car is scrapped. By comparison the repairs you needed seem like a pretty minor investment in order to keep the car running for another 250k km.
Don't know where you come from, but I've just bought my mother a car that has done 200k km and it's a pretty decent car. We scrapped her old car which was at 731k km. So where I'm from 250k km is considered moderately new car.
250k scrapped ICE yeah which country? I just looked our local online car sale and there was almost 20 000 car for sale that had driven over 245k km. And 5 year old car that has 265k km doesn't equal a 20 year old car with same km because every part is ONLY 5 year old so actual aging hadn't happened yet.
We had the exact same issue. Ridiculously noisy, like riding a horse cart. Tesla K100 fixed it for free using the new "recall" they have for that issue.
This typical these days with ‘lifetime’ lubricated ball joints etc. The labor and parts costs to press out the old joints and bushings is more than replacing the entire unit due to manufacturing ‘efficiencies’.
People perhaps have focused too much on assembly issues such as panel gaps and paint flaws. There seems to be real underlying quality here, and Musk has said in the past the cars should go 1 million miles.
I would say it's totally different have a 20 year old car that has 265k km and 5 year old car with same km. Why because that 5 year old car still every part is only 5 year old so real wear and tear form aging doesn't affect much on any parts only heavy use. Like rubber doesn't deteriorate in 5 year but for sure in 20 year will do so.
Always makes me sad that you cannot refurbish parts. Bad design or not enough knowledge by the service place is sometimes the case, from the look of it though I'm not sure it was that easy to refurbish or not.
There are companies which refurbish bushes and ball joints. I believe the airsuspension is rebuildable also. Example in German: ua-cam.com/video/JTHJeFAAd3E/v-deo.html
it looks to me that the new part is a right side upper arm, not a left. ua-cam.com/video/m2ZX0iDrcUk/v-deo.html the "new part" is mirrored to the old....
Wow the ball joint was not pressed out, so the entire upper control arm had to be replaced. Not in keeping with efficiency and been environmentally friendly.
Thats only common on trucks and old cars, integrated ball joints are standard on most modern cars. Usually the bushings are going bad around the same time, if you are not doing it yourself it is then cheaper to replace the complete arm than paying for labour to replace balljoint and bushings separately would have been.
Bjørn: Behind me here you see an old friend. 😊
Nassir: 😊
Bjørn: ... Optimus prime!
Nassir: 😑
Hahahaha I thought the same feels 😔
The upper control arm they tried to install in the beginning is actually for the right side not the left. They probably noticed when there was no way to mount the ride height sensor. Also the noise is caused by water getting into the ball joint causing corrosion
Yeah the bulge is on the other side on the new one so I was already thinking that's not right.
I've noticed the same thing. Most certainly doesn't look good on their reputation, trying to install a right side control srm on the left side.
Nasir for the win!
Nasir, the angle is not “zero point zero three” but “zero degrees and 3 minutes” (3 minutes = 3/60 = 1/20 = 0.05 degrees).
Bjorn, thanks for being a good person. It's pleasure to see people like you still exist.

"you should always be in ludicrous mode". YES!
Corrrrect
Man I love this collab

Nice V12 sound!!
Terrific! Interesting to see the belly of the beast, and to hear the car given high praise by a knowledgeable mechanic. Mine is some distance from 5 years and 165k miles. But good to know that Tesla makes a solid car, good for the long haul.
That C140 🥰🥰! I love those!
Great conversation Lots of knowledge from both sides
I love how interested Bjorn was about that Mercedes haha
⚠️ at min 0:56 the part is mirrored, I think that's for the other side.
Dat merc was well made :) very nice.
That Mercedes has the double Glass from a tank, the engine of a tank and the consumption of a tank 🤣
Not sure if that is good or bad, but it defintly is cool tho.
It is just a joke, nothing else... That is an awesome car but the fuel consumption is for real ridicously high... 😄

I read the title as "getting repairs at 265 km/h". That would be a sight.
Long time ago this car had a problem with front motor axles vibration and noise when driving with low or high suspension.
At the time you said there was no fix yet, a replacement would just get the same problems again.
Has Tesla fixed this problem?
Loads of knowledge there!
I love when he says "cUrect' :D
11:50 a björn classic
It should always be on ludicrous mode 😆😆
Oh yesss! A fossil v ev race teslabjorn style with a V12 & nassir👌. I cant tell you how much im looking forward to that shit. Uncle bjorn please please please make it happen. You the man!!!
Björn, how much did you pay?
And I‘d like to know what were your costs during the complete 265kkm.
Great video Bjorn.
Lot of nice repairs for Optimus Prime. Should feel like new again!
When is the model Y review coming? Taking deliv next month so waiting eagerly 🙌
Bjørn gets the car today, so it's around the corner.

Excellent stuff and so clearly explained 👍
More repair videos! Thx!

Love to see this type of content! 👍😀👍
Does Nassir and his garage have an estimated cost for the total repair for this car (parts and working hours for the garage)?
Cool video! Have you checked the driveshaft issues? If I remember correctly you also wanted to check on them.
Nassir = Juicy stuff
We had the exact same issue. Ridiculously noisy, like riding a horse cart. Tesla K100 fixed it for free using the new "recall" they have for that issue.
Are they also investigate inside common squiking and rattles and post fixes for that?
So you cannot just change the Ball joint, you have to change the entire UCA!?
How much was the new UCA?
This typical these days with ‘lifetime’ lubricated ball joints etc. The labor and parts costs to press out the old joints and bushings is more than replacing the entire unit due to manufacturing ‘efficiencies’.
when will u drive the y?
The 1st model X doing the dance in Paris.
How much is cost to change the both ?
Since it's BilExperten's car, they should have their logos on the side :D
So is it possible to adjust camber on X on 3rd party shops. Tesla told me not…where can I get camber specs for 2020 raven long range please?
Great car great garage
That V12 Mercedes must be expensive to maintain and drive :D
How can you trust a repairman if his vise clamp is loose on his exam table.
How is the battery?
Anyone know when Bjørn will start the model Y pick up live stream?
I never said I will live stream the delivery...
He won't be and he can't! Doubt Tesla gives permission! There wil be a video, so stay glued to YT!
Hi Bjorn, are you going to do a review of the Tesla model Y?
he should try one of the newer smart for two just for the lolz :)
13:38 oh no, Optimus Prime was renamed!
Model Y videos coming soon?
People perhaps have focused too much on assembly issues such as panel gaps and paint flaws. There seems to be real underlying quality here, and Musk has said in the past the cars should go 1 million miles.
Right side arm always go’s first. Left side wil be replaced tomorrow on my car.
In Australia left arms go first. But then it lasted over 300.000km. Here Tesla sends out parts like this to private owners at very reasonable prices.
@@moestrei Yesterday the changed both arms! Lets hope they stay good for a while. Good and friendly service in SC The Hague Netherlands
what 0-60 can you expect from this P90DL?
I have a video about this
Korekt.

Mercedes w140/c140 ftw!!! At cruizing speed its quiter than model x i’m sure!
Spissing made me laugh :)
correct
WTH is Optimus Prime doing here? Didn't he sell it a few years ago? Did he also buy this one back?
Second comment, model X for the win
I have driven one of those mercs. They are absolutely amazing. However when they go wrong electrically...
Always makes me sad that you cannot refurbish parts. Bad design or not enough knowledge by the service place is sometimes the case, from the look of it though I'm not sure it was that easy to refurbish or not.

Frickin' fossil Merc!
Bjorn fai una versione dei tuoi video con sottotitoli in italiano
È praticamente impossibile farlo purtroppo...
Hæ?
Nicola was asking about adding Italian subs for your video, I answered that it is impossible 😅
