Nah, I don't think Pram is lying about Laharl's fortune. Ever since NIS made the Disgaea franchise and Hour of Darkness, he, Etna, and Flonne have been game jumping from other Disgaea games to remakes and spin-offs. His personality, fighting style, skills, and his memorable laugh that we know and like can be proof enough for Pram's prediction to come true.
Look at this objectively. Laharl may have the Plot on his side, but if he took over the whole universe the resultant setting would be boring (though I could see that as a reasonably entertaining alt ending). Laharl would be down Flonne (she'd never help to conquer the universe), a vital loss. Being down Flonne, he might still beat the Disagea 2 party (Hanako's Etna fangirling would be a vital weak point) but wouldn't stand a chance against any of the other major threats established. Sicily would also likely be reluctant- conquering the universe sounds good in theory, but she hasn't tried it in practice. As for the groups, I'll go through what I think with the others. Player mooks are ignored, under the assumption they cancel out. -Mao is close to Laharl in power, judging by their match. Ironically given it's these two, it comes down to their friends. Mao is probably down Almaz and Sapphire (they had to go home eventually), whilst Laharl is down Flonne. This means it's Etna, Barbara, and reluctant Sicily v.s Raspberyl, Mr Champloo, Mr Big Star, and Salvatore. Barbara's utter stupid makes her a wild-card, plus Laharl is going against his conscience. I'd give this one to Team Evil Academy. -Laharl&co v.s Valvatorez&co would be interesting. Assuming Tyrant Val isn't back (unlikely but possible given how his relations with Artina are), it's worth thinking through. The team will have advanced warning from Flonne, plus a likely full team of six. -Gig is weaker than Mao's full team, but probably better than Zetta (judging from their respective battles against the Disagea 4 crew). In short- indeterminate from avaliable evidence.
Zenon is tactically a very different beast from Rosalin. Even Laharl isn't stupid enough to break the same seal twice. Because he's a relatively noble demon, the Disagea 2 team would probably decide after a while it wasn't worth the bother.
MMh.....let's not forget that Laharl is the only one who actually defeated Baal in the plot. I think only Zenon, Zetta, Pringer X and Max Power Valvatorez are strong enough to beat him, when it comes of 1 vs. 1. However, I think not even them would leave unscathed by his new attack Overlord Dimension ( which is the most powerful and badass attack in all the Disgaea Universe). Carinthium I really liked your analysis, but if you said that we shouldn't count plot, then it's useless saying who would help who conquer the universe, since there's no plot even Flonne must put in consideration. However, Laharl it's my favourite and I root for him all the time, strongest or not.
Laharl beat Baal with a team, not on his own. Laharl's team>Baal, Laharl doesn't. As for plot, I meant treating the universe as it is IC but not taking into account which side the author is on. The Disagea writers could make the confrontation go to any one of the teams and justify it reasonably.
Fun Fact i'm not sure if this is an intentional Easter egg or not but in the light novels Flonne would get jealous when ever another girl showed interest in Laharl and would then call him a pervert.
That's the Maxed out Leveled Laharl, Etna, and Flonne I remember. Damn, though, I just finished maxxing out Etna, and now I'm starting on Flonne, it takes roughly 12 hours for me to max one characters out.
Possible, a lot of disgaea special attacks are lifted, though variations of that mirror attack have been around for decades, so who knows maybe they coincidentally both stole from the same source.
Here are my guesses. Laharl would be utterly furious, Etna might be annoyed but wouldn't care all that much, Flonne would be mildly outraged but forgiving, Sicily would be somewhat disapponted probably (she was somwhat happy at the prophecy).
Is Pram even an actual Fraud, or just not aware herself that she's the real deal, wrongfully thinking and acting herself a fraud? I can't remember her ever being wrong at least.
@@Kaefer1973 She's aware she doesn't actually have future sight, since she gets her prophecies from the Sacred Tome. But as long as she uses the Tome her prophecy is still true, so it's hard to get caught. Barring another Zetta incident of course...
@@LilyKazami It was mostly a joke but as a guest character she also did prophecies, and at te time of writing that I didn't know any where she was completely wrong either, even though the Sacred Tome should not work on the future of other Netherworlds.
Wow, look at how Flonne flips when Pram starts to come onto Laharl.

Carinthium Laharl can't beat team Disgaea 2 because Rozalin is canonically stronger than him and already beat him plus Gig isn't as strong as Zetta.

laharl confirmed eventual best overlord
Though Pram was lying about why she came, and she's also a fraud.
dragonstormx REALLY? O.o why did she come to our Netherworld then..
Probably just to mess with everyone, since that seems to be her only character trait in the DLC.
hmmmm maybe we should keep a eye on her then....
that is how larharl turns out to behave and is exactly like the comics' galvatron
NIS needs to rerelease this one on Switch
5:05 Whoa! Flonne is jealous
Pram looks good in the red yellow and black
Huh she does? o.o woah I really need to see this!!
Fallen Angel Flonne sorry I have a thing for fashion and colours

Fallen Angel Flonne Im a lil girl in that way but i do enjoy video games :p
:3 Yay I just hope Pram doesn't plot against us >

Aw thanks for starting to max my lvl and that up ^0^
Ice Mirror is straight Naruto lol.

Too bad they didn’t use this voice for her in Disgaea 5…
Did laharl mana just said "a lot" instead of a real number.
It says "a lot" when in Dark Assembly and Mana or Hell is above a certain value.
So, I wonder what they'd do if they found out that Pram is a fraud.
