Great video Ian, you really captured the essence of it. I noticed my cousin, Symer, was there at the ski centre, he used to be a 'classic' but I think he's a 'vintage' now. Not sure about his bike.
Fantastic video Ian great to see so many old bikes out on the road running great sounds from the old bikes pity there is no smell e vision . Great watch😂
What a day, simply magnificent. They are all hero's and legend's for keeping those lovely old bikes going. Thanks Mr Ness for a superb video presentation and I joined in with the applause at the end 👏
Hi Paul Great to hear that you enjoyed this video, I definitely enjoyed making it. Loved it when you said that you were clapping at the end, just brilliant 👍😁
Another cracking video Ian, what a fabulous sight to see so many vintage bikes actually being ridden and not just a little parade but out on a challenging ride, well done to all who entered, I suspect that you have a desire to own a flat-tanker 😂 all the best buddy 👍
Hi Mike Great to hear that you enjoyed my video, I loved making it 😁👍 Sometimes I wish I’d got into classic and vintage bikes when I was younger. I’m a bit too old to start building and engineering workshop and gain the necessary knowledge to maintain these fine machines. I just feel privileged to have been able to make this video and to share it with the world. Take care mate, hopefully catch up again sometime / somewhere 👍
Hi, it really makes me so happy to see so many vintage bikes on the road. I just hope the next generation of bikers appreciate the pioneering engineering of these machines and take up the challenge to keep their legacy going for the bikers of the future. A big shout out to the organisers of these events because without them, the bikes would end up as unused museum pieces.👍
Hi FWM Thank you for your supportive comments, that’s exactly how I feel about this. Unfortunately not a lot of young people are getting into bikes compared to when I was young. It was such a privilege to be able to film and ride along with those amazing machines 👍😁
Another crackin' video Ian. Well done to everybody who took part and to those riders who made it all the way back. The weather certainly was in your favour for this unique and wonderful run. Fingers crossed it's the same for next year. thanks again Ian. 👍🏍🏍🌞
Hi Ricki Great to hear that you enjoyed watching this video, I really enjoyed making it. Such fantastic old bikes and enthusiastic owners, it was a privilege being able to play my small part 😁👍
Hi James I’ve never ridden a bike with a hardtail and sprung seat, but it sure does look like fun. Really hope that you enjoyed my video of what was a fantastic day 😁👍
Ian, you must of enjoyed your day being out on the A93 with those lovely bikes. Looks like you got a decent day. Came up this road after Revolutions and latte in Dunkeld mid Saturday afternoon. Got caught in the Braemar gathering traffic, so took back roads from Ballater😂. Then drizzle n thick fog 8 miles or so inland, on the coast. Superb video Ian.😊
Hi Mark Yes I sure did enjoy making this video, it was fantastic being able to ride along with all those amazing bikes. Great to hear that you enjoyed it 😁👍 Take care mate, maybe see you at the next Wee Smokey on the 22nd.
Hi Ian, I have watched you video on the Drift cameras, but was wondering if you have any plans to talk about your DJI Mavic Air Drone.. pros & cons. Keep up the great work.👍
Hi FWM I hadn’t planned on doing a video on it, but may consider it now. Always difficult trying to think of something new to film during the winter months. Actually I’ve not used my Mavic Air Drone for a long time. For what I mostly film, it’s a a bit of a faff and takes quite a lot of time getting it setup and in the air. This is ok when I’m out on my own, but not very convenient when riding with others. Recently, all the flying video shots in my video’s have come from my new Hover Air X1 which for me is absolutely fantastic. It’s tiny, self contained and in the air recording in seconds. I notice that DJI now have a new Neo drone out which looks like a less expensive copy of the Hover. Great to hear that you enjoy my videos 👍
@tigerness5555 Thank for you're reply. I have only just started taking an interest in drones, so iam playing catch-up. Could you ever imagine this technology would be available to the masses just 15 years ago and at such an affordable price. It gives a completely different perspective on our surroundings and events, almost like a 4th dimension. I wonder how many people would love to give it a go but get overwhelmed by the choices. Thankfully there's lots of 2nd hand ones available so I can dip my toe in and give go without costing too much.👍

Your Interceptor wouldn’t have looked out of place amongst all of those fabulous bikes.

Hi John
Good to hear that you enjoyed my video 😁👍. I’ll have to look into smell e vision and try to include it in future projects 🤣

Ah yes, that unmistakable bobble of the sprung seat hardtail - pure comfort & road gripping strength....
