Omg yes!!! This pod is my favourite, we decided to homeschool our girls because of anxiety due to learning things they couldn’t understand or care about. They are thriving being at home learning home skills and everyday life. We love your pod xx
For me uni was so much more than education. Learning to live independently and dealing with different situations, meeting so many new people! Best time ever
i moved out at 17, i’ve only just turned 18 and you’re right.. i have no knowledge on all the tenancies, budgeting, rent etc. i’m learning by experience but lessons on it in school would have really helped me out. i have had multiple occasions where i’ve ended up with 0 money and empty cupboards and nobody prepared me for that
Love seeing Sarah so open. My eldest is a month younger than Chloe and I used to constantly compare my little girls development to Chloe. My daughter has autism so didn’t really get her speech till last year. It’s really refreshing to see you both talking about milestones and education. I really look up to you guys as parents and this video has shown exactly why. 💖💙 will forever be a fan of your channel and podcast ♥️
Im a young mum and i have a little girl and listening to you guys makes me feel so much better and to remind myself not to put so much pressure on myself all the time ❤️
I enjoyed my university experiences, having graduated twice with a degree and a master's degree. This has yet to help me as this happened throughout COVID-19 and has definitely put me behind in where I would have expected in my professional career.
Totally agree about the school thing! I hated school, my attendance was always below 70%. I failed every GCSE. And I’m now 23 and a manager of a successful business!
i’m 18 and still need my comforter that i’ve had since birth. i’m ashamed of it but at the same time, it’s the thing that calms me down when i’m overwhelmed and overstimulated. it takes away all the anxieties in the moment. yes it’s “shameful” to some, but comforters, dummy, teddies etc are much better than unhealthy coping mechanisms
wish they taught about credit scores at school! it affects everything and its so important! but honestly i had no idea about credit scores until i was 21! by that time i had destroyed it already without knowing, now I'm trying to build it back up again and that don't happen over night,, if I'd of known i would have made better choices.. things like this i really don't think they should rely on your parents telling you about, as mine never did either..
I got 1,2,4,5,6,8,9,10 all right, this quiz is the first time I’ve thought about half of those thing from school😂 comes in handy for quizzes not so much my grown job/life😅
My 3 year old is almost non verbal she says somethings but very very little. But she’s not bothered she can’t stand sitting there listening to me repeating words she’d rather be playing. Every kid is different despite if there may be something wrong all I care about is if she’s happy and I don’t know why there’s so much academic pressure when a child being happy is the most important thing
I agree with the thing about Chloe. My mum always says that her brother was amazing at sports day. He always one the stuff and he was fastest in the class. He didn’t do football or anything and he wasn’t good at his maths or English. My granny reckons that if they encouraged him to do running or did cross country he could have been an Olympic athlete. Teachers and schools should really pick up in this. With the new generation everything is changing. You should just get praised or certificates at assembly for being smart. You should get a certificate if you do swimming or did well in a gymnastics competition.
Wow I got 8/10 for the quiz!! 😀 I’ve done too many trivia’s on cruise 🚢 ships and the same questions always come up and eventually they end up sinking in!
I do agree there is a lot of things in school that are pointless and they should teach more life skills. However not everything is about needing it in adult life. It's good to learn about the history or the world and learn from past historical mistakes and experiences.
Sophie is just amazing, and sounds like she's really working towards that target.❤ toy rotation and different themes in the play room based on the girls' interests are good. Eg, shops, gp surgery, vets, etc. How funny..... I was having this same conversation the other day about a compass because my house deeds say that the north, south, and east sides of the boundaries are ours or something like that😂 I haven't the foggiest how to use one! Just tell me left, right, up and down.... simple! Even Google maps whilst walking ain't easy! 😂 why over complicate life! It's already hard enough as it is. ❤ xx
You can also have ADD so it's attention deficit disorder without the hyperactivity, but generally hyperactivity isn't running around like a kid it's also hyperactivity in the brain :) hope that helps
Thank you for another podcast hope Grace gets the GCSEs results she wants you guys are hilarious beautiful family love your videos and podcasts you all deserve the best ❤️ xx🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹
I’m 26 on Sunday and a mum of two (5&6) I totally agree with kids in school!! I’m still learning budgeting, finances, bills and everything as I go!! I moved at 20 to England from Scotland so some things here like water need to be paid it’s a lot. School taught me nothing. My kids are in school 8:30am-3pm and some people think I’m crazy for not enforcing the kids doing homework but i think they do enough in school!! It’s crazy the expectations too. My sons also awaiting adhd testing so I know his learning will be different xxx
I think kids should be taught and not tested, like my memory is awful and I got set up to fail because we all had to learn a certain way. But that wasn’t the way I learned, but I only found that out as an adult. For the quiz I also got 5/10 lol.
Honestly I love this pod. But hearing this general knowledge and Joel explaining Surrey and London compared to Africa made me laugh. Coming from someone from a failed relationship. Knowing a fact seems less fun than your beautiful family but just made me laugh. Love you both x
Uni and education is really subjective, some creative people like you guys nd other digitial creators can make as much as someone who is a doctor and you have no degree. But theres many jobs which require great knowldged and a degree proves this. such as research, do you think any random person could get a job as a border control researcher? its all down to the path and job you want, it isnt always about money or even the job, some people just genuinly enjoy learning and others go to uni for the social life and life experience. Your family is lucky enough to acesses amazing life expeirences due to your job that your girls likley wont feel the need to go to uni for that reason.
I always got 0/10 2/10 on my spelling tests when I was younger because I was never gonna learn the words so I was convinced I couldn’t spell but as I got older and reached like secondary school I realised you just pick up the words you need to spell and they choose stupid words you’re never gonna use so the tests don’t matter at all… I never new my times tables had to go to extra clubs but now I’m getting As in a level maths and got a 9 at gcse and don’t know my times tables as the basic stuff just isn’t important… my reading skills are still shit but at gcse I managed to just not read the the books or extracts and still got 7s so…. she’ll be boss lmao
God has been so merciful to me I exalt his name now and everyday of my life. Awesome God ❤️my family are happy once again and can now afford anything for my family even with my Retirement.$67k weekly returns has been life changing, after so much struggles.
Wow...I know her too she is a licensed broker and a FINRA agent she is popular in US and Canada she is really amazing woman with good skills and experience.
YES!!! That's exactly her name (Maria Angelina Alexander) so many people have recommended highly about her and am just starting with her from Brisbane Australia.
Thanks for the comments guys 🙏🏻❤️

U guys should 100% play tennis together- it’s so good for fitness at your ages and overall such a fun game!
im a student nurse, i need to go to uni to get a job as a nurse and yet ive learnt more by doing nursing in a hospital than in class.
