Thanks for visiting
A boodle fight is a meal that dispenses with cutlery and dishes. Diners instead practice kamayan. The food is placed on top of a long banana leaf-lined trestle table and in the true military practice, diners do not sit in chairs but instead stand shoulder to shoulder in a line on both sides of the table.
Nice Guysss... Share and show the Hospitality ng Pinoy. Marunong na magbtglog si Wife🥰🥰
Beautiful weather...!!! Best family recreation... 🥂💖
Wow, thank you
Please explain to your Family that boodle fight isn't just about eating--- it's about more in unity, solidarity and camaraderie thru eating of similar foods on a single or in lined banana leaves.
Eating by hands in boodlefight have lots of meaning and history explanation as well;
Eating together Using bare hands on the same leaves means that we are all on the same boat rowing all together in achieving our common goal in life ---no matter how hard life is, no matter what status in the society you are, doesn't matter what foods we have or what we have not on our table.
"We eat as one, we live as one and we will always thrive to survive as one" 😅
It also represents Filipino values like "patients" "flexibility" "Family-Oriented" "hospitality" etc.
And also back during the war, soldiers used to have that kind of settings when eating for many reasons as well. And even sometimes now, Filipino Soldiers or civilians occasionally doing that especially in ceremonies, Family reunion or welcoming events.
If a Filipino Family welcomes you or invited you in a boodlefight--- you are very welcome to their family and they want you to feel at home.
Enjoy watching your video always. Have fun guys and be safe always... ❤️❤️❤️📹
very well said......😊!!!!
Nice comment,,😁
mas maganda tama dapat backround ng ginagawa bilang pagkakaisa at mag8ng close ang bawat isa
Thank you guys. Happy boodlefight sa lahat. At be safe always. God bless your Fam and God bless our Bayang Mahal. ❤️
That's right. They were invited to have boodle fight without even explaining to them what it is. They may think that Filipinos are still uncivilized eating with their hands like animals.
My father is 91 years old, he told us about our grandfather, they lived in the mountains during the Spanish era, they used banana leaves to eat with their hands because they didn't have plates and cutlery.
My isa na namang tangang nagcomment..

Thank you! 🤗
Boodle fight is not a Filipino tradition... boodle fight is a Filipino Soldier “military” tradition. The term “Boodle” is used by the cadet corps of the Philippine Military Academy meaning “Food”. In any military academy and officer schools in the Armed Forces of the Philippines we used newspapers instead of banana leaves. Because that’s the easiest way to produce every time we take life (sneaking eating at night).
The Filipino tradition is called “kamayan.”
Poor Filipino tradition..😁
SO, it is not a FILIPINO tradition? And then, you said FILIPINO "military"? I'm so confused. Why not just erase "Boodle fight is not a Filipino tradition" to eliminate the confusion?
@@halfevilhalfgood2206 FROM WHAT PLANET ARE YOU FROM?
@@rollypaga3834 common sense, every country has its own military... When you said Filipino tradition it means this tradition started wayback kopong kopong to all Filipinos. But, this tradition is unique to Filipino soldiers (Filipino Military) and was just adapted by the Filipino community just recently.
May I ask you, when did you find out the tradition boodle fight?
@@pinoyaviators Filipino Military is also a Filipino Community. A group of Filipino people no matter what their responsibility is belongs to a community. The boodle fight is not the issue. I'm just confuse with your sentence.
My late father once told us that they have already did this kind of system back in 1950's somewhere in Negros Occidental, especially during harvest of Corn crop, and they termed it Salu-salong kinamot (Salu-salong kamayan in Filipino/Tagalog). It was pretty amazing since everyone was happier then.
I think the term "boodle fight" was used in military. BOODLE means "food" and "FIGHT" means fast and limited time eating.
Anyway, whatever the term is, the hospitability of the Filipinos prevails at all costs.
Actually there are many ways of doing a salted egg sometimes we put a water in a container then put a lot of salt then put the egg inside the container with water and salt..then after 3-4 days you can harvest it..😊

Hi, it's nice to see this video sharing the military tradition... so others may know, the word "BOODLE" originated in the United States Military Academy also known as West Point. This military terminology called boodle means food. This U.S. military jargon was adopted by the Philippine Military Academy. Cadets in their 4th class (1st Year) in the military academy or military schools usually cannot eat well because of the military tradition called the square meal. What these cadets do is gather at night at sneak (It's called take life). They collect all the boodles they can easily provide like noodles, sardines, rice, chicharron, and other instant meal, and put them in a newspaper (not banana leaf). Once the noodles are prepared, the cadets start to commence the "Boodle Fight"_. The cadets can sleep with a good load of food after they take life. The Filipino tradition is called "KAMAYAN" using the coconut shell as their plate.
Sana All happy family God Bless yuo all ways
Thank you so much
Finally a real boodle fight.. lots of foreign vloggers says they joined a boodle fight but you'll just see a bunch of food then they eat separately with their own plate.
No, that's not boodle fight that's just family style eating.

Correct me if i am wrong netizens, Itlog na maalat or century eggs are buried in a treated salt clay mud to preserve it for 18days(?). It is colored to separate e it from regular eggs. Eggs that are preserve longer than 18 days command higher price. The outer layer of the egg meat becomes translucent when soaked in the mud. I had eaten one before in a fine restaurant in Cebu that was in 1991 and it cost 400 pesos for 1 serving. Search the history how itlog na maalat came to be.
There are new easier ways to make salted egg available in youtube. You melt salt in water to as much salty as the sea, then soak the thoroughly washed duck eggs and cover properly. Make sure all eggs are submerged. Time it from 15 to 30 days. Strong Pink Coloring is not required. Just accustomed to differentiate from raw chicken eggs when selling. After your preferred time span, boil water then slow steam the eggs for 15 minutes.
God Bless ur family always
To make salted eggs, first, you dip eggs to mud with salt combined for 21 days to make it salted!broken eggs were not included, just those good eggs!after harvesting from the mud for 21 days, washed with water to remove mud and then cook for 4 hours to a colored boiling water for 4 hours to have the best salted eggs!
I got to say, Russian are really a beauty.🥰🥰🥰🥰
Beautiful family glad Russian people can still travel despite there is war happening in Russia 🇷🇺, God bless you guys and continue vlogging

Actually you can just stack the egg with the salt water for 7 days no need to put mud, like boil water like 2 cup of water in 1 cup of salt boil it ang let it cold to a room temperature then wash the duck egg soak it just make sure that the egg totally covered buy salt water for 7 days the boil it ready to eat
it originated from the Philippine military.
How time flies talaga so fast. Parang kailan lang nakita ko itong video ay nakasulat sa time ay "uploaded 1hr ago", ngayon ang nakasulat as of this writing ay "uploaded 5 months ago". Today is 8- 20-2023 a Sunday.
Anna, have your husband explain how they prepare the purple eggs. It is called Maalat which means salted.

Salt is added to mud and the eggs are buried for a while. The sslt us absorbed in the egg. Red-foid color is added to distinguish it from ordinary boiled eggs, although red coloring can be skipped.
at least Russian Family tries the Boodle Fight. 😊👏👏👏
BOODLE FIGHT IS FUN AND HOPING YOU ENJOY THE COOKED DISHES
Boodle fight is military tradition to strengthen to camaraderie and brotherhood that was adopted by civilian Filipino families to show togetherness eating together to a single plate.
I've tried that one , I was amazed ...
Boodle fight is originated in Philippine army eating, bonding feast, it is a brotherhood festivity.
Hahaha kakatuwa sila po
The food looks so good yum.
*_Burying salted egg in the mud is such an urban myth. The egg won't last a day in the mud! What they do is simply put the eggs in salt to make them--you guessed it--salty. The red/purple color is just artificial coloring._* 👍👍😎😎
hello mga russiane family arriva filipinsi.to everyone you are happy in philippinse..my philippinse is good selp anybody..
Nice. Survival sa jungle ang boodle fight. Kagaya sa mga sundalo.
It's so fun.
You should bring at least six people to join you who are like someone who haven't eaten for a month hahahaha! its more fun to eat with those kind of people during a Boodle fight.

Pano kumain ng boodle fight? Originally there's no rules but if you want to consider a more sanitary way, you can fallow this.
1. Once food is prepared, you wash your hands and say your prayers.
2. Decide which hand you will use for:
a) Main hand - feeding food to your mouth. Use this hand to divide your food into smaller pieces. Keep the helper hand (b) clean and never use it for feeding your mouth to keep the center food sanitary.
b) Helper hand - reaching out food and holding cups to drink. Keep this hand clean like its only used for serving and not for feeding.
3. Choose your area where you will place and eat your food. Reach for the food that you want and place it in front of you using your helper hand (b).
4. Using your main hand (a), grab a food that you placed in front of your and feed your self. Do not use your main hand to grab food from the center to keep everything sanitary.
5. Wash/rinse your hand as often as you want if you need to use your hand for something else (like fixing your self).
6. Since this is not a real military boodle fight, there should be more than enough food to share to fill everyone's tummy. Only take the food nearest to you and leave some for others to share. Excuse your self if you want to take food from another area of the center food.
Salted egg was made of brine solution, covered with mud and salt mixed together and put it under the soil..u can store it until 1 week..i once made it when we are making xpirement in science
So maganda❤❤❤😊😊😊
