I always wonder why Ricoma, Transworld, stahls, and many others offer lifetime warranty on the heating element but HPN does not and only offers one year.
Congratulations. How do you like the program settings feature? It took me a while to know it even existed. I really like that feature, to me its a real time saver.
@@adubbproductions Hi, I have been trying to contact the company, since yesterday after seeing your video. My box was open upside down and delivered in that manner. Also, the magnetic part you were speaking of in the video is off my heat press. I just called again and it just goes to their voicemail. i was so excited to get the press, but now I'm not too excited about what has occurred. And I purchased a NEW heat press, not a used one.
Wooooo. That sucks. It sounds like it’s the freight company that messed up. Either way that’s unfortunate. You left a message right? Please keep me posted on how long it takes for them to get back to you. I am curious. @ricoma
@@adubbproductions I called Ricoma and they spoke to me in a timely manner. Ricoma also returned my call when I left a message. They were prompt with responding back to me.
Thank you for this information! I’ve been going back and forth with the HPN Signature Series Pro with Sure Press and the Ricoma Auto Open. I just came up on a Ricoma Auto Open Hat Press for $250. So I I’m going to ride with Ricoma to start out with and once it makes the money back plus profit, I may add the HPN or the WALA to the arsenal.
I love the control panel on the ricoma but slightly turned off by the missing features you stated. I currently have a swing away and I love it. I have never had a clam shell heat press. I'm scared I would get burned. But I do love that these all have slide out drawers.
Yea, sometimes i clamp it down and want to lift it back up. The only work around I’ve found is turning the machine off and back in again. Besides that the price is great for what it offers
Good day love your content one thing you missed is warranty hpn have full one year on all parts after looking at heat transfer warehouse warranty was turned off doesn't offer warranty on all parts for year just 90 days on electrical and one year on heat platten didn't check ricoma also have you ever tried any of proworld presses thanks and be blessed
Not all presses are created equal! This is a real learning cure for some. Cheap price is often cheap parts, and for this stuff that you need to rely on and hole a constant and steady temp, paying up for a press is a smart move! It'll pay for itself several times over.
Wala press pro 16x20 a lil expensive but I like the feature’s..I like that it hovers the draw comes out more than most press you can thread your clothing on the wala press pro which you can’t do on both of the other press you reviewed, I also think it looks better all the other press..I do have things I don’t like about this press but all an all these press are great I considered all but went with wala pro
Thank you I was leaning towards the Ricoma before watching - but I’m trying not to let that emergency release button Steere into joy purchasing Also I wished ricoma had the option to purchase but in installments
That is tough. I’m going to go with the HPN Pro with sure press because of its reliability. I really enjoy the simplicity of the Ricoma’s digital head that you can just dial in the setting but the tech is not proven to withstand time. Electronics break. We will see. Overtime it seems like the simplified versions of things last longer.
Ayo Dubb, idk if you found this out yet, but an easy work around for the Ricoma not having an emergency shut off… JUST SHUT IT OFF! Pops right up. Hope this helps. Just found this shit out by accident tryna fix that magnet issue.
They are not the best but they get the job done. You can get them right here. allanawade.com/products/metal-wheeled-push-cart?_pos=1&_sid=901a8ae0b&_ss=r
platen causing un even pressure on my prints messing up my hoodies and shirts. Also spoke to a representative which told me I have to pay 25% restock fee and shipping back to them even though it came out the factory faulty 😂! Don’t do it to yourselves! And no the lips don’t line up because of the sliding bottom. It’s because the top plates is finicky and moves a lot and wants to spin in a circle and corners don’t align
Are you able to reset the Ricoma time from the touch screen while you're in mid-press? I was thinking perhaps that is an emergency reset hack to trigger the auto open. For example, your 30 seconds in to a 60-second press, then decide you want to stop press early. If you can hit the time to reset or change to 3 seconds and it auto opens with a new lower value this may be a workaround.
It seems to me that most of them are off in the corners vs what the temp gauges say. I have yet to see a video with anyone showing the temp gun with perfect read outs in all spots. To me what’s important is that it does what I need it to do. Press vinyl/transfers and or cure ink.
Thank you I was leaning towards the Ricoma before watching - but I’m trying not to let that emergency release button Steer me into not purchasing Also I wished ricoma had the option to purchase but in installments
Im just realizing that you promote these companys and get stuff sent to you and for views alot of us cant afford the free stuff that you be showing us thats how you get alot of the stuff you have
What’s your point? I’m still telling you my opinion on the good and the bad of each of them. Hypothetically speaking, Can I ask what the difference is between me getting an item for free and any of the other thousands of channels on UA-cam that do the same thing? Also, you are wrong I payed cash money out of my pocket for a-lot (not all) of the of the items I review for my business. That doesn’t sway me either way. So, what’s the difference between me doing it and the other thousand channels on UA-cam? Is it just me? Am I special or do you leave the same comments on their videos?
Hi, We must admit this was a great review, rather items are given to him for free or not. Also, i guess these companies trust is honest review of their items. ;D Stay bless.
@@seczee411 I agree, if he is being honest with his review I could care less how much he paid. Stay out of his pockets and business. Appreciate the quality review and up close detail of the units. His opinion matters to me as I am no where close to any store offering these models of heat presses. @ A-Dubb Productions Allen Wade Thank you for taking the time to showcase and compare these units. I enjoy your reviews and appreciate your dedication and attention to detail. Quality work!
For the cost of the heat press, the company actually saves thousands in advertising. That's the beauty of it all. If you have your own channel, a healthy following and you spend a little to review the things you purchase, eventually you will catch a manufacturers eye. There is always a possibility one of the manufacturers will want you to review their product to your audience.
I was ready to upgrade my heat press and remembered your video so I rewatched it and used your link to purchase the Ricoma
Thank you. I appreciate it. Thank you for watching. 🙏🏾

I agree!
That makes sense. They can’t charge high prices and put great quality parts on the unit. That obviously wouldn’t be profitable.
I was leaning towards the HpN press they offer a 3yr warranty but that wala pro looks and sound to be top

Yup. It sits up high so you can thread clothes. Can’t go wrong with the Wala Pro.

Great video very detailed and enough info to make a solid decision. Where did you purchase the stand ?
Ricoma 16x20 or the HPN pro 16x20 with surepressure auto open? What’s better in your opinion

@adubbproductions good call I had the same question…
I got the Ricoma 16x20 👌❤💛💚 need those covers tho....
You definitely should consider them. Protect your platen and your clothes.

Where did you get
The covers for the Ricoma ?

The signature series is a classic. It’s the bench mark of what all good clamshells should be.

Can I plug the ricoma 16 x 20 into my wall outlet?
Yes you can.
@@adubbproductions Ok i think my outlet is only a 15 amp, that shouldn't be an issue right?
