Could be poped windpipe, air escaping into the skin. Happened to me and my face swelled. "Untold stories if the er" did an episode on it, I had to go to the hospital
I have pica, but every case is different, and we don't just all go and eat rocks. For me its things like paper, or metal clippings
You may have an iron deficiency try taking iron supplements and fiber supliments in place of the paper and metal

I had an instance of the right side of my face swelling my eye shut overnight. It started out with a runny nose and itchy eyes too, it turned out to be an infection of unknown origin after my immune system killed my white blood cell count. It may be something similar and caused by an immune response

It has always intrigued me that for all of mans knowledge and arrogance we still have all types of weird diseases we can’t figure out and most of us still live only about 70 or 80 years. Heck, there are turtles and fish that can live twice that long.

Alright...I'm no medical proffesional but I can guess some things that make sense.
First, I don't think that is a deadly disease, like cancer. It's been 3 years and his overall health has been fine (excluding the head). When you have a deadly disease, you die within months and it gets worse. But this stayed the same after it swelled to its full level. As mentioned, his sympoms were:
-Severe, itchy eyes
-Runny nose
-Irritated eyes and red nose
Again, this sounds like a sinusitis. We all had sinus problems, right? I actually have a sinus infection right now. My only symptom is a cold feeling in the sinuses, and a bit watery eyes because that irritates. My symptoms are completely different than his, but, there are a lot of types of sinus problems. However, I also recently had an allergy and my symptoms were the same as his. It could be an allergic reaction. Something that provokes an allergy in his body may have got under his skin. Remember, he lives near nature. That would be my diagnosis. But, what he needs is an X-RAY and a blood test. It must detect something;if it doesn't, then it could be something much easier to treat. Something like an allergen buried under his skin, as I said. This problem can and must be solved.
I've seen many case of swollen face like that in my career, its probably related to an obstruction of his jugular veins, he need a ct-scan with contrast.... most of the time its cancer related though

Sinus infections are no joke. I've got a chronic sinus infection (means I have them all the time) and I've had surgery on my sinuses multiple times. Especially during allergic reactions, hayfever for example, my nose swells twice its size, and my eyes are swollen shut to. My migraine is also worse because of the chronic sinus infection.

Okay I'm from the Philippines and been seeing post from youtube about this guy who is from Ormoc City, i just watched the video and can confirm the story is true, he said in an interview it started when he was making a table (he's a carpenter) and said dusts went inside of his eyes and started to get irritated and sneezes alot for about 2 months, after that is his right side of his face started to swell up, all he misses was painting walls because thats how he used to earn money for his family, i didnt finish the video but he did mention the doctor said he needs an operation that will cost 150,000php or 3,000$

I could have been a news report?! I was exactly like those two people with angeoadema. I have it, I would swell in my face and looked just like Romulo. I also broke in hives from my head to the bottom of my feet. No doctor knew what was wrong with me. I used Benadryl and other antihistamines along with steroid, NOTHING HELPED. Of course I done my own research and started taking Zyrtec, it was like a miracle! The next morning no hives, no pain, no itching! But for the next couple years if I forgot ONE DOSE I would swell up and break out all over again. Years later it disappeared on its own. I now get hay fever extremely bad now-a-days but if I take Zyrtec I’m fine. If I’m pregnant I’m hospitalized. It’s weird i don’t know if they’re connected but seems like it.
