Thank you for these film rarities. I saw the buildings as a very young man and they have inspired me to conduct and enjoy over 20 years of research and teaching. From these films, again I have learnt something new about Gaudi and Catalonia. His buildings *are* Catalonia - in my eyes, unique, mysterious, vibrant and beautiful.
Art, architecture and music, an awful lot of quality and culture went into the making of Ken Russell. He had talent, vision and imagination, but also had taste and intelligence. I would rate him a genius, but we haven't appreciated him for a very long time now.
