Looks like the bouncing is caused by late throttle idling.. If we consider turbine spool down time, having positive thrust at 5ft'de may cause an extra forward pushing force upon touchdown. Watched several times both from cockpit and outside views :) 1:34 > 20' 1:34 > Retard (1x) 1:35 > Retard (2x) 1:36 > 10' 1:37 > Retard (3x) 1:37 > Throttle Idle command (click sound from levers) 1:38 > 5' 1:39 > Retard (4x, throttle already idle but engines still producing thrust) 1:41 > Touchdown / Bounce 1:42 > Touchdown (2x) Another possibility is the controller has some noise (needs maintenance), thus sending back false throttle movement signals back to XP.
Maybe I'm doing it wrong, but if I idled earlier, the speed drops, and the stable approach landing makes it unstable that I fell below the reference speed (Vref.)
@@mavi_izmir First "Retard" call should be ok, as the aircraft is kindly reminding the pilot to do it :) I never had issues with SaP even when idling just before first call around 30 feet.
