BREAKING NEWS!
At the 1988 Autobello Cup yesterday, Ricky Harrock's signature 63 car slammed driver side first into a tire wall, killing him. The accident happened after Lawrence Fraiser's 14 car hit him, both Autobellos went spinning, and Lawrence Fraiser's car caused the 63 to skid into the tire wall at around 70 miles per hour. The lack of safety on the small car resulted in a traumatic head injury after Harrock's head hit the wall. He died on arrival to the hospital. Other drivers were alright.

Well to add to the trauma to the head we could definitely see a major concussion and possibly some major brain bruises and or a hemorrhage and what we would definitely see a significant skull fracture on a xray along with a possible dislocated shoulder maybe a few broken ribs or dislocated ones definitely 1 or 2 broken arms including wrists joints would be out of place for sure maybe 2 to 4 torn ligaments and a with the head jolting like it did we could see a neck sprain or a nerve or joint on it torn Conditions for a broken neck would be favorable. So adding those injuries he would be for sure knocked out and definitely could be dead before he arrived to the hospital or dead upon boarding the ambulance. (BTW I'm no medic so yeah)

1:17 this very nearly happened to Mark Martin at Michigan Speedway in 2012, he got very lucky that the wall pierced the car just behind the drivers seat and was able to walk away. A few inches different and he wouldn’t have.
never know about that crash before you told me, just seen it and he so lucky!
Carlos Prado had one like this except he didnt survive it back in 2009 I think.

Actually not really. In the 1990 Martin Donnelly crashed in F1 race qualifying at Spain, he flew out of his car and was left on his seat in the middle of the road. He survived the crash so not 0%, I think around 1%. He is not the only one how has survived flying from the car but most of the times it's fatal. If you want to see the video, search "Martin Donnelly crash in Spain 1990 Formula 1". 🙂 Donnelly suffered 2 broken legs, broken collarbone, concussion and damaged lungs. Gilles Villeneuve also almost survived flying of the car into a wall head first (without a car) at 1982 Belgian grand Prix, it was close but he ended sadly dying in the hospital 6h later.
