Actually, the caves were already present to some extent prior to Diana and Santiago presenting the Overseer with the fabled tek pipe bomb, so at the very least the Fertile Chambers and perhaps the Bioluminescent Chambers were already present at that time. The Elemental Chambers were most likely either the ARK's infrastructure that ended up being exposed and morphed into what it is now following the Overseer Station crash landing and falling to the bottom of the ARK, or was originally it's iteration of the Tek Cave given the presence of the portal to the Overseer Station at the bottom of the Drake Trench and the pathway leading there bearing some similarities to that of The Island's TC. @@NeddyTheNoodle So they explain what went wrong post-Extinction like how our character went from cleansing the Earth, the arks landing then *poof* suddenly our body is in a hibernation pod on a colony ship bound for another planet? ^^;
Well we know that Helena was uploaded to the Genesis Simulation at Arat Prime on Earth and created HLN-A who got on the Genesis Colony Ship. Which means the simulation acts as a vary long wireless connection between Earth and the ship. So I’ve always assumed that after we killed the King Titan and saved Earth, Helena realized we were strong enough to save the colony ship as well, so she uploaded us through the simulation too. As for Rockwell, in one of his last notes on Aberration it states that when he became the new Overseer he gained the knowledge in the Ark’s dada base, witch is probably how he knew about the Genesis Ship in the first place. And because of the post credit scene for Extinction we know that he survived when Aberration fell to Earth. So again I’ve always assumed that he found his to Arat Prime and uploaded himself to the simulation to get to the ship too. These are just my thoughts based the facts and implications we have, and as someone who is vary interested in ark lore I think this is the most likely way of how it happened, but we don’t know for sure until someone who actually worked on the game confirms it.
The best way to interpret is that despite defeating Edmund on the Aberration, he survived, and when Helena called down the ARK's, despite that ARK's damage, it was called down to earth as well... with the Rockwell entity aboard. This brought a seed of corruption and the human tribes unified together against him as the federation. When they had believed they defeated the Rockwell entity, they began launching ships into space to explore new planets, using the history of the Ark's as a simulation to train future explorers as survivors but unfortunately, the Rockwell entity survived the federations onslaught and existed on-board the Genesis 1 seed ship, where H.L.N.A over rides your cryostasis pod and frees you before Edmund's tendrils infect you.
If Ark two never comes out, or I don’t buy the game, I like to consider is the true ending being Survivor landing on the alien planet, and living on one of you esoteric free maps like lostisland, Ragnarok and Val Guero are maps to take place on the recovered earth, while the center, the crystal isles and fjordur take place on the alien planet at the end of genesis
9:45 please someone else tell me they heard the discord streaming watcher notification here, tell me im not crazy x_x oh and also awesome video thanks for compiling all of the cutscenes and lore for us to enjoy :D thank god for SE getting a Ascension!
Alright let me get this straight: Ark has two plots, One that covers The Island, Scorched Earth, Aberation and Extinction, and the second that covers the two Genisis DLCs But we leave the Earth ending up in the open and instead follow the spaceship that flew to a earth like planet instead of seeing how Earth is restored and what the Aberations virus will try with the planet?
I think thats a good assumption. I like to believe that earth is saved, mission accomplished but Rockwell still such onto the genesis ship along side with all those other survivors (enough to repopulate an entire planet) that it would lead to a fubar situation unless it's dealt with so maybe she uploaded a clone of our character onto the ship to deal with Rockwell once and for all

These are just my thoughts based the facts and implications we have, and as someone who is vary interested in ark lore I think this is the most likely way of how it happened, but we don’t know for sure until someone who actually worked on the game confirms it.
THESE CUTSCENES SLAP
These cutscenes helped implementing the story. But there's still huge gaps in between extinction ascension and genesis 1 and 2
The best way to interpret is that despite defeating Edmund on the Aberration, he survived, and when Helena called down the ARK's, despite that ARK's damage, it was called down to earth as well... with the Rockwell entity aboard.
Dude I like the fact how HELN-A just says oh *beep*
With this I think that ark is finally complete
Really must say, The music-Creators, Storywriters and Graphics Designers of Ark Survival are Top notch.
The Game-Designers however...
The Island ascension is SOOOO GOOD!
Finally they gave scorched Earth an actual Ascension
Damn I really miss the old extinction ascension with the old voice acting, it just sounded less stiff and had more emotion in it
When Helena said "well Fuck" I lost it then and there
And to think it all started with us punching dodos and running away from lvl 4 raptors back in 2015.
9:45 please someone else tell me they heard the discord streaming watcher notification here, tell me im not crazy x_x
oh and also awesome video thanks for compiling all of the cutscenes and lore for us to enjoy :D
thank god for SE getting a Ascension!
There's more Rockwell lines than that! He even mentions Santiago at one point! Dedicated Rockwell Voiceline video when?
very soon :)
Ahh the Discord sound as you go through the rings of abberation 😂😂
Genesis part 2 ending hit me different ngl.
Alright let me get this straight: Ark has two plots, One that covers The Island, Scorched Earth, Aberation and Extinction, and the second that covers the two Genisis DLCs
But we leave the Earth ending up in the open and instead follow the spaceship that flew to a earth like planet instead of seeing how Earth is restored and what the Aberations virus will try with the planet?
I think thats a good assumption. I like to believe that earth is saved, mission accomplished but Rockwell still such onto the genesis ship along side with all those other survivors (enough to repopulate an entire planet) that it would lead to a fubar situation unless it's dealt with so maybe she uploaded a clone of our character onto the ship to deal with Rockwell once and for all
Funny how rockwell gets a tantrum at both abberation and genesis 2
13:00 i just love this momment!
SO MUCH NEW CONTENT.
The aberration intro is my absolute favorite
23:36 Rex A.K.A Santiago's dinosaur/Ripper: A new story begins (takes a deep breath) RRRRROOOOOOAAAAAAARRRRRRR!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! And Survivor good luck mate!
13:00 If you feel like something is too hard for you to do, here is some inspiration

I was like "WTH is he doing with a spear, facing the king titan?!"
You are still winning the upload race

ua-cam.com/video/j9nHI7XswG8/v-deo.html
Thanks for the prologs and epilogs
Helena Zero-Summed, Rockwell was consumed by Ekstasis...
The Survivor reached CHIM.
Anyone else notice what looks like a new Titan in the prologue for Extinction or is that just the King Titan?
King titan
Rockwell:you wont suvive this
1 sec later
"Rockwell dying"
Nice to see they still haven't fixed that blue haze bug that ruins the Extinction cutscene. Still, I can't wait to see where the story goes with Ark 2
these make me cry
Seems to have missed the creation of HLN-A and sending the survivor into Gen1.
That's not an in-game cutscene -- promotional material created for the trailer :)
@@NeddyTheNoodle AHA! They should totally import it into the game then. Bit of a gap in the in game lore in that case.
Some of these clips make me tear up. Esp the Gen2 finale.
I love arks lore is have everything
Ok so I gotta ask: why did they add that blinding cyan glare to the Extinction ending? The whole scene looked beautiful before and now you can only see half of it.
wildcard pls fix
i feel that man
It saddens me to know that many players don't know the story of the ark and the explorers note. The game is more than just Man Vs Dino if one were to look more into it but I understand some just don't care
Omg been waiting for this for ages
8:36
"IVE BEEN TEMPERED IN VOLATILE MONKEY"
0:01 No not again…
