- The tattoo industry was very, very different when Gia Rose first picked up a machine. For starters, artists had to make their own needles and pigments. And those machines? They weren't the quiet and reliable pens you see everybody using today. For tattooers, half the job was mastering how to build and maintain their tools. Rose persevered through those trying times and developed a gorgeous neo traditional tattoo style. We sat down to discuss the evolution of her style, how she became an artist, gratitude and much more for this Artist Profile.

Its wild to hear her talk about 20 years ago. I was getting tattooed regularly in 2000 😂 must have been lucky to live in Missouri? Because it wasn't a deal at all. I miss the prices. FR. 😂
Going on ink master definitely makes u a better tattoo artist. Gia became much better artist from ink master. Her work is great Realism, NeoTraditional , IMO is her best work. Letting the artist do what they love to do makes tattoo so much better

News flash: bodies change. Could be due to medicine or hormones or any number of reasons.
Hey! Bodies do change, be kind! I’m actually a lot smaller now than I was on ink master lol lighting, angles, wide lenses, all can change how a person appears on film, people are always surprised when they meet people they see on film in person and exclaim, your so much shorter or smaller or taller or whatever in person! Also you don’t know what people go through. I have a water retention condition that affects me occasionally. Try to be more kind to others in the future. I don’t take offense but you never know a persons journey. So be kind, it gives you more in return trust me ❤
