The turning back and seeing him dead - I had something similar that was hilariously tragic. Doing a scav run on Reserve and met a friendly scav, started chatting on VOIP and offered to share the airdrop flare I spawned with. I pop it and the crate comes down and I start looting. He needed an RBattery, and there was one in the crate. Then I heard *pew!*. I warned him a shot went past my head and there was no reply. When I backed out of the drop, there was my friend's dead-ass corpse just sprawled on top of it.

Even managed to catch some of these moments on stream, like when you died to that god tier (not sus at all!) shot in that shop front in inter where we all couldn't work out where the guy had the angle on you from. I feel ya. I play exclusively solo. Gotta know when to leave a fight if its a large team and you have killed a few. You have to let it go sometimes because the last few will just back up and camp the bodies with no nuts to fight you.

I really dislike this mentality. The entire point of the game is to survive. To extract. To make it out with loot. It isn't a TDM game. This isn't Call of Duty. When you gamble gear the smart thing to do a lot of times is to slow down, and wait. Yet for some reason the Tarkov community has this bug up thier ass that anyone not shoving Shift and W through thier desk isn't playing Tarkov correct and that makes them pussies or rats or whatever else derogatory thing you want to spew. Why? Why is it like this? A lot of people, the majority of people, don't W key 24 7.

Thanks for sharing. For next wipe note the Survive status at raid end is not the same required for quests: for your Factory quests you could extract right away; you don't get the raid "Survived" status but your PMC actually survived, the quest is validated.

And some other quests ask specifcally that you "Survive and extract from with the "Survived" exit status" ; in that case yes you have to wait the 7 minutes or do some xp.
It’s so refreshing to see actual camaraderie, for lack of a better term, between two players not in the same team. I used to play PUBG mobile, and there was a vaguely similar game mode to Tarkov called Metro Royale. Basically it was just a really simplified version of it, and it was kinda customary for higher tier players to let low gear players live, and this kinda reminded me of that, you letting the hatchet guy live.
I really like the format of this video. It's episodic so we can track your progress easily and the commentary is nice. I would recommend doing a series similar to this for a full wipe. I, for one, would really like that.
Even after taking a break from tarkov myself, I always come back for these vids for the effort put into it. The thinking behind the plays and the content always make me want to get back into it. I'll try and catch some more streams, keep up the great work!

32:00 that's incorrect, you don't need to either stay in raid for 7+ minutes or kill a PMC, you just need to get enough XP in any way to break the XP threshold they set.
44:09 you should practice the pistol quick-draw thing for when you run dry in these scenarios - bring just a cheap TT-33 or APS with you! It takes some practice to relearn that muscle memory, but I set my quick-draw to Q+E as it is close, but not used for any other functions 🧠

The slower playstyle can be key for surviving raids. But for this wipe especially I've been trying to really push pvp engagements to help myself improve. I'm got a lot more confident in places like dorms and resort. I think that finding the mix is key. But also pushing yourself out of your comfort zone is important for growth.

Point firing was always OP in the past but with the recent recoil update you need to actually AIM your gun when firing in many more circumstances than previous wipes.
your vids motivate me to keep playing tarkov (sec wipe) started playing abbout 2 weeks in to the wipe. first raid i did on ground zero killed a 3 man squad and the second raid again. i still struggle with map knowledge and stuff and i dont have the best aim but the little wins makes a diffrence
Playing solo is the way I got better at this game and it didn’t take long until I was taking on dorms as a solo the struggles of this game is why the game can be so addictive.

You can survive a raid quickly by killing 1 scav then loot him. After that you will have a survive status. I farmed this method for a weekly task survive factory 20 times. Also make sure to get the factory exit key and go at night.
I may be biased but this is an incredible bit of content, well done it’s outstanding, not the most mechanically gifted my ass, you be shmoovin in some of those fights giga chad style 😂
I never really liked Tarkov. I can't play games like this solo, and it was too brutal for me as a new player. Got totally wrecked almost every time haha. Playing with a friend was much much better, but he accidentally team killed me so much, it got frustrating lol. But watching you play is super entertaining. You're doing great narrating everything, editing is real good, good gameplay and a super nice gaming character. I think it would be nice to show the loot a bit more, maybe explain when you got something great, or explain some things in general. Most people don't really care I guess, but for me as a "noob", that would be quite interesting. Keep it up man. Love your stuff.

IV been going on a tarkov video spree, and I got to say urs is one of the better ones 👌
I never really liked Tarkov. I can't play games like this solo, and it was too brutal for me as a new player. Got totally wrecked almost every time haha.
Playing with a friend was much much better, but he accidentally team killed me so much, it got frustrating lol.
But watching you play is super entertaining. You're doing great narrating everything, editing is real good, good gameplay and a super nice gaming character.
I think it would be nice to show the loot a bit more, maybe explain when you got something great, or explain some things in general.
Most people don't really care I guess, but for me as a "noob", that would be quite interesting.
