Easy Quilt Facing - Faster than Binding!!

Hello Shiny Crafty People and welcome back to the channel!
I saw an awesome video a few weeks ago (here's the link: • Quilting Technique: Fa... ) about FACING a quilt rather than binding it.
Not only is this method faster, but there's no crazy corners to navigate!
While I love binding quilts and the look is traditional, some quilts need a flat face with no added border of a binding, while others just need to be done quickly so you can get along to the next project.

Brilliant! I hate binding quilts and you could even use scraps or pieces of any fabric for that facing. In the same way we sometimes piece together fabrics for the backing.

Tim, this would be great for place mats ,heat mats, smaller quilts.I can see this as a great finish as well as quicker to do. Great idea. Also how about doing thus for pot hokders??!!❤😊
