This video will explain to you what a laminate finish is, the types of laminates and the advantages of getting your modular interiors in this finish.
A laminate sheet is made of layers of paper that are infused with Resin at a very high pressure and temperature. One of these layers of paper is the decorative paper which is where the laminate gets its colour or printed pattern from.
Laminates allow us to create a limitless combination of looks. You can have a surface that is glossy or matte, choose from a palette of colours; pastels, bright colours, patterns ...you can simulate woodgrains and metal. So it's not only aesthetics, it's aesthetics plus a high degree of customization.
Laminates are also cost-effective when compared to other finishes. This cost-effectiveness goes beyond just the cost of purchase, but more importantly into maintenance. They are ideal for high touch areas such as wardrobes, study units, vanity units, TV consoles, Puja areas and kitchen surfaces. The topmost layer of a laminate is made from what's called an overlay sheet which is a transparent protective layer that prevents fading, scratches, and stains, and is super-easy to clean.
We use Anti-Bubble and AquaBloc technology; two mechanized processes that not only fuse these two layers together but also seal the edges of the core material with an edge band using thermoplastic polymers.
