Halfway through the advanced levels, I just couldn't take it. I'm worse than I was before. Shame on me. Feel free to drop a dislike for my poor skills.

The sound effects, the levels, the power ups, the graphics, reminds me of elementary school. thank you for this nostalgia

Do they still have this game for the Mac?
I used to play this all the time in the school computer lab, either after we finished working on PowerPoints or just whenever we had free time. It was so much fun to try and get as far as you could in the time you had.

holy crap. I am literary shaking. I've never felt this nostalgic before.
this game is so old i forgot about it thank you for reminding me that this game exists and it's still in our hearts ❤
I still remember when I first downloaded this game from an website in early 2004.
Here because I randomly thought about this game for the first time in years
This came preinstalled with one of the Mac computers I owned as a kid. I must have spent hours upon hours playing it. It's still fun and challenging as an adult, and a huge nostalgia trip. I love the music and the graphics.

Nostalgia is too strong with this one! I remember playing this in primary as a kid on those bulky Apple computers (2007-08).

Ahh memories! I first played Marble Blast Gold in 2008 and fell in love with the game ever since! I remember sometimes I'd get an "out of bounds" and would fly down so far away I'd hit the barn house down below 👨🌾

This took me forever to find, but I finally found it! I played this on a friend's mac back in the day, but couldn't find it for the longest to time. I went down the "Neverball" and "Super Monkey Ball" paths, but could never find this exact game. Yet here it is!
My mom was a teacher at my elementary school. After school, I’d go to her classroom to wait while she finished any work or grading she still had. Most classrooms had 3 macintosh computers each, and I think this may have been one of the very first games I ever played. Gosh.
STOP THIS COMMENTS I HATE YOU STOP SAYING YOU PLAY AT SCHOOL
This, Nanosaur 2, and GarageBand were the coolest things to 8 year old me. I appreciate my parents for letting me use their Mac book from back in the day
Good grief. I remember play Marble Blast Gold around at 2012-2013 season during that time when we had Mac computers during that time. That was so fun that we kept playing Marble Blast Gold on Mac computers during that time. Had the memories since I was kid at 5 during that time. I was in kindergarten during that time.
I've been playing this game since I was 4 or 5. Played religiously as a kid and redownloaded it in college. What a fun time lol.

You and me both! I discovered it initially in 2006 and there hasn't been a year since where I haven't played it. I was so excited when they announced Marble It Up back in 2018 as well. So many good memories with this game!

Bro same. Like almost to the letter. My older sister was a beast at the game. I always sucked. Our old Mac in the basement stopped supporting it, but now I really want to give it another shot. See if we can't regain our old pass time.
@@Celtic_Cheesepuffs we had a mac too. it didn’t ‘stop working’ but instead it became so degraded you could see through all the obstacles for some reason. also hi

The sign says caution because you need to avoid being knocked out by the bumpers. This is what happens when the sign says caution.
My god I have almost forgotten the elementary school memories!!!
I haven’t played this since my last days in 6th grade 😭😭😭😭 the sound effects and everything I remember well!!!
My first got to play this game on The family computer. It was a Windows XP which is , in my opinion, the best operating software hands down
To play on your PC's resolution, open the console command pressing the apostrophe or tilda key. Or the key under Esc. Then type... "setResolution(, 32);" (without the quotes) and then press enter. Make sure to apply the changes or it will set back to the previous resolution you've had.

My primary school had eMacs with this game preinstalled on them, back in around 2010-11. Whenever it was a rainy day, we all got so excited because it meant we could stay inside and play this. If you were especially good at it, you were by far and away the coolest kid in your class.

One of the few things that made my shitty out-of-town elementary school enoyable from 1st-3rd grade was playing this game near the end of the day on the Mac computers in the classroom. It's been almost 3 years since I've graduated high school, and I gotta try this game again sometime soon. What a nostalgia bomb.
Kids used to play this on the computers in my social studies class in middle school back in 2009 - 2010!
Why are you so hard on yourself, man? This was a fun game when I was a kid! Fun fact: If you roll your marble into the corner of one of the moving tiles in the wave level, a glitch will occur that sends it flying out of bounds into the sky!!!

Marble Blast Gold is a 3D platform game developed by GarageGames. It was released in 2003 and is the sequel to Marble Blast Ultra. In the game, players control a marble and navigate through various levels, collecting gems and reaching the finish line within a time limit. The gameplay involves using physics-based mechanics to roll, jump, and maneuver the marble through obstacles and challenging terrain. Marble Blast Gold features over 100 levels, a level editor for creating custom levels, and multiplayer modes for competitive play. It was well-received for its addictive gameplay, intuitive controls, and vibrant visuals.

DAMN, i’ve certainly had similar experiences to most of you guys in the comments. i used to play the everloving hell out of this game from the time i was 3 up until i was maybe 9 back in the 2000s. i used to customize my own levels and everything, it was a lot of fun. theres a cheat where if you click in the top-right corner of the level selection window, it will unlock every level from beginner to advanced; i remember the advanced levels being my absolute favorite to do, i loved a good challenge even though i failed miserably at most of them haha
I used to watch these kind of videos when I was 7, now I’m 13 I found a way to get marble blast gold for free and I started playing it yesterday. I was wanting to play this game but now my wishes have gone true and I got the game.

I wonder who is Nardo Polo
I always asked that myself
If I had to take a wild guess, I would assume that it is a pun on "Marco Polo"
Because of how you play Marco Polo in the pool, and how you often bring spherical objects (not necessarily marbles, but marble-like balls) into the pool with you
Nardo Polo is the nickname of Mark Frohnmayer, the lead developer of Marble Blast Gold and the founder of GarageGames.
@@ralphmarbler27 No kidding?! I never knew that - I always thought it was an arbitrary placeholder or maybe an ironic reference to marble related activities like my guess above, but I could never guess that it was an actual insider joke/reference to something private to the developers.

It's definitely one of the easier games to hack/modify cause of how the assets and code are right in the folders, but I think most games aren't like that and require more in depth hacking methods
@@joshuapfingerle4704 i know, most old games usually have the contents compressed in a file that is usually not uncompressable in most programs, such as .PAK or .DAT
but once you have those files extracted, it is not so hard to modify either.
@@hugominecraft4801 Oh yeah, I remember that too (like how 90s FPS games or games from other indie companies have their data in PAK files a lot especially), I was just referring to how many games don't have their data conveniently in a package for you at all (whether regular folders or a compressed archive format like DAT or PAK) and give you only the .EXE, so you would have to hack the game .EXE itself to get the resources, which is more fiddly than using an archive that has been organized for you.
@@joshuapfingerle4704 Usually, most times you don't need to hack the .EXE, since yes, the data files are not in the exe itself, but if you have seen Lego Star Wars: The Complete Saga modding tutorials, you might have seen how in a directory (folder), there is the exe, and the files that are compressed in other files.
