Ep. 13 Hemphill Bald-Rough Fork Loop - 2022 July 18-19 (Sylvan Reflections)

On this backpacking trip, I start my counterclockwise loop at the Hemphill Bald Trailhead on Heintooga Rood. I follow Hemphill Bald trail to the Caldwell Fork trail to Camp 41, then continue to Rough Fork to complete the loop. In the process, I lose & gain around 2000 feet, see all kinds of beautiful wildflowers, some interesting animals, and even experience a couple hours downpour! Its a great trip!
