My associates degree is in business administration and I’m continuing my bachelors degree in information systems & technology. Can I still be software developer? Or even business or data analyst? How can I be a software developer if the courses mainly focus on SQL or maybe even Python? Also should I just go into business analytics instead of information systems?
Yes you can be a software developer, but to be more competitive you should take coding courses. Whether you should or shouldn't go a path is based on what you want out of your career, not my opinion.
