  • We tend to think that when an engine gives us low compression in a cylinder, the breakdown is VERY SERIOUS, that we must open the engine and change segments (rings) at least, if not rectify cylinders and others, which in many cases does not repair is feasible. On many occasions we forget that low compression can be caused by other, much less serious problems. The advisable thing to do in this circumstance is to first carry out the "CYLINDER LEAK TEST" to try to determine where this low compression comes from. By segments? By admission? By escape? By cylinder head gasket? If the leak comes from the exhaust area or the intake area, it is most likely that you have an excessively depressed valve, so with a proper valve adjustment the problem will be solved. DO NOT GET OVERFLOWING BEFORE TIME.
Some time ago I made a set of videos about this motorcycle, as a WORKSHOP VIDEO MANUAL, where the operations are described, step by step, to set up and maintain this fantastic motorcycle. This new set of videos aims to show, more or less quickly, the transformation that this unit has undergone in its complete restoration process, showing you promptly the various actions that have been necessary to bring this unit back to life.
