Hi Nicole. Betty looks adorable. Love all the medicine items on your bathroom shelf. So cool. The Q tip box is awesome. Like the needle books and all the stuff in the jar. Best of luck to Maddie aa she moves into her new apartment. Old scissors are so cool too. Great tomato finds. Thanks for taking us along. Take care. God Bless.
I had sooo much fun watching this video and got excited a few times as you pulled from the jars lol. The stork scissors....omg; and loved the tomatoes plus the needle books. Would love to win that extra if you offer it out to us. I do believe the scissors that you thought weren't so great have the curved edge and are wonderful if you make a very close cut because I went out to buy a pair after cutting a small hole in fabric by accident. The blue plastic needle is for yarn and I have a couple that I use when wanting to run the end yarn through an afghan after tying it off. The bag of tins was just as fun to watch. Had never seen the bullion ones before. I see you changed your calendar and Betty is looking great! I have some oldies in my bathroom also; and if people comment on dust....well shame on them. Even an old, tiny brown bottle that has a cork for closure with all the pills still in it.
Nicole, I love your channel and I think you and your family is adorable! I found a lot of old seeing notions from my Mom’s seeing cabinet and made a shadow box with a lot of it! I think your finds are great!
I loved those junk jars and I would have totally purchased the bag of tins. Probably would even have paid more. I really loved your bathroom cabinet display. Didn't look too old to me and if you replace it, you are not likely to get those three perfect cubbies for your vintage stuff.
That is true! Maybe I’ll just freshen the paint. I don’t like that it never looks clean anymore! But fresh paint might do the trick! Thanks for the encouragement 👍🏽
1. My grandma had a pair of embroidery scissors like those! 2. I actually rarely see those needle tomatoes anymore. Hmmm 3. Some beautiful snaps and needle books! I collect those! 4. I also have a antique toiletries collection 😮 5. Omg! The fairy Scissors!!
So fun to watch you get excited over these adorable vintage keepsakes! I do like thrift store shopping but no worries because I love yard sale shopping too. 💗💕💗💞
Nicole I love your channel. You have such enthusiasm for your thrifting! I inherited the thrifting bug from my grandma. She loved to go to auctions and got amazing bargains. Thanks for sharing your treasures❤
I’m saving up Christmas and birthday cards and the envelopes they come in to make a junk journal for each type of celebration. The big plastic needle with the huge eye comes with knitting looms and is for weaving the ends of the yarn back into the finished item.
I could care less about dust... I love to see your decor the bathroom cabinet in the bath is spectacular,,,,,I think the lacy looking pieces toy said you were going to use for trim are actually garter pieces that originally had clips to hold your stockings up the other end was hooked to some type of waist belt....lots f cool stuff in the jars and the bag of tins was awesome!
Loved the oil can and the tum and bullion tins! I wasn't aware bullion cubes ever came in tins. Really enjoy your vintage medicine cabinet. You be you! Enjoy your collections! Fun👍😀
Hi Nicole, Love all the treasures you have found and all your excitement for them. Also love Betty's new apron! I really enjoy all your videos, so keep up the great work and I will see you in the next one. God bless you and your family.....
I’m always on the look for the vintage sewing goodies. Some I get cause I have little collections (needle books & unique pincushions). Others because I actually use snaps, hooks&eyes & assorted size needles. And of course the thread…have you looked at the price for a 🧵 spool of thread lately?!? Yikes!!!
Oh my goodness love the tins! 😳 oops I remember those slide Q-tips boxes🤦🏻♀️ I love that idea in bathroom for your collection! I have a similar cabinet, I just may have to do that! That blue needle is for yarn. Yes yes, I’m dying to see your junk journals, I’d like to make one! That tape measure is terrific, put it around Betty’s neck. I have a yellow and black bonnet pin cushion, from my grandmother. Oh I love those scissors!! Cool that you got 2 tomatoes! I have no idea where my moms went, I know she had one 😢 but I do have her wooden box with drawers, each has writing, buttons, pins, needles etc. I have a few old needle holders but none as cool as yours. I think you got a great deal on the jars, some fun finds!
I spotted that little aspirin tin on your bathroom shelf. I always had one in my purse when I went to work. This was before Tylenol, I guess I’m vintage 😄. I remember those bullion tubes growing up Too.
There are frames without backsides, just Glas on both sides. You could put that little vintage record in one of them and then display it in a window or a shelf that is used as room divider , or even on a table.
Consider adorning Betty with a vintage strand of pearlized " pop-it" beads, popular in early '60's. I loved playing with my grandmother's, who wore hers with great style!
I enjoy seeing all your finds! So fun to go through the jars! What a deal! The first little pair of scissors kind of looked like a bird when you first held them up...wondering if my eyes were playing tricks! I too have a bunch of "little collections" all throughout my home! Happy Thrifting!
I remember Q-tips in the slide box! Are the trims yardage, or are they vintage ladies’ garter ties? I couldn’t tell. Love the jars of sewing notions - so much fun! I found a lot of vintage notions in my Nana’s sewing box - love them so much!
I love all of your videos. It doesn’t matter what the Content is. I love your bathroom display! I want to do that same thing, but I need to find a shelf first.❤
You have collection just like I have. But now at 64 I need to start death cleaning. My kids want none of it. So into boxes it must all go. It is very sad for me but it will be so much nicer for my kids. I bought a wall unit and what fits stays and what don't, goes. Now I just need the energy to get started. Lol love what you found today. Maybe I will send you a jar to go through. Maybe some of us could fill a jar and send them off to someone on the list. What fun.
@@bridfeeney7428 I'm not planning on dieing anytime soon. But I'm starting to think about the hours/weeks of work to clear out the stuff that I know they don't appreciate or enjoy. I'm also going to label some special items from the family. I think that just keeping the cream will still make me happy but also less stressed.
Do you wonder why someone dreamed up the idea of a tomato shaped pincushion? My mother owned one and so do I. I like the idea of a collection in a jar.
Ok this was so fun. Those tins.. ahh I'm loving all of your small collections. I personally love your garage sale and antique mall hauls. Just hanging out with you is so fun. I was thinking that a cute vintage scarf would look cute over Betty's shoulders or around her boobs. 😊
Pretty cool!! Some of that stuff made me very nostalgic. I think I have a lot of those things you just showed mostly all from my mom. I inherited it and am not a sewer to speak of so not sure what I all have. I did get rid of a lot to a lady that does sew for others and thought she could use it. But those needle pkgs. and those tomato pin cushions made me tear up. Mom was a great homemaker!! She cooked, baked, sewed, canned, cleaned, crafted and a lot more. Thanks for the video!!
That seems an odd reason to watch a video. Pay them no mind Nicole, there are plenty of us that come to hear you and see the things you find enjoyable. Love your vibe! 💜
I’ve been wanting to make a vintage sewing junk journal with some of my moms old stuff. Would love to see you make one with your extra stuff.❤
I crack up when you get excited! I know I’d have a blast thrifting with you!
😄
Thanks for the shout out to my channel! Love watching your goodies! We have many of the same collections!! Lol
I love how you absolutely adore everything you buy.
Loved when you said "it's a box".. I am 75 and that was how we got Q Tips for years...forgot how much younger you are!!!😁
😂
Two is a pair, and you know the rest is a collection! You go girl!
Oh my gosh! My mom was a polio survivor and had to hem her slacks too! Brought back sweet memories.❤️
I always thought I was the only one who got excited over little collections! Love your enthusiasm ❤
Thank you!
Junk journaling is so much fun. Collecting the goodies is the best part.
Truth!
Caught myself being as excited as you for the second tomato pin cushion. YAY!
I love your medicine tins collection in your bathroom. Very clever!
I love how you are displaying your handkerchiefs. Those tins are wonderful. The scissors are great!
Those jars were like their own little treasure box!

I LOVE the Black Ribbon Hat and Red Print Apron on your dress form... ADORABLE. Thanks for saying her name *BETTY*.....
Betty is a fashionista !❤
I like everything you got. I've never seen tins like that before. I really like your bathroom collection.
Nicole, I love your channel and I think you and your family is adorable! I found a lot of old seeing notions from my Mom’s seeing cabinet and made a shadow box with a lot of it! I think your finds are great!
The blues plastic needle is used in crocheting. Use it to sew yarn together.
I so love when you get excited, especially when you find another tomato pincushion! Thank you for sharing. your enthusiasm is contagious!
Thank you! I’m glad you enjoyed!
LOVE EVERYTHING YOU FOUND!! I TOO, HAVE A MILLION "COLLECTIONS"!! I'D DISPLAY THE "B"
SIDE OF THE RECORD "PRETTY POLLY" AT VALETINES!! 💙💙

You can also use the zippers in your junk journals!!
Needle books are awesome ❤❤ love the tomatoes too 🎉

Thanks for visiting! I’m having a fan girl moment 😂 Love your videos and your wonderful ideas and easy to follow explanations!
Old zippers can be primitive doll noses or mouths. Or Jacko Lantern mouth. Glue, no sew. Do on foam pumpkins.
My mom used Herb -ox, had all of them. Blue ribbon one is sweet! That was in 60's.
Great info! Thanks!
Nicole love all your collections❤-Mary
I love old everything lol
WOW Nicole, those jars were full of surprise things, I loved seeing you pull out the different items
I'm 65 and I still have my seam ripper from jr high school.
I have that same coffee cup and love it!! ☕️ Cheers!!
I remember the sliding Q Tip boxes. The big plastic needle is used for yarn projects.
I watch wishes and weeds she makes some great junk jounals
I’ll check her out! Thanks!
Oh that cute little Bayer’s Aspirin tin, that brings back memories! ✌🏼❤️
So fun to watch you get excited over these adorable vintage keepsakes! I do like thrift store shopping but no worries because I love yard sale shopping too. 💗💕💗💞
You got a small tape measure like that at the awesome garage sale we went to with the blue birds of happiness.
Yes but this one has a key chain! Now the other one stays in my box with stuff for the Pink Elephant!

It is tomato season!😂😘🇨🇦
So many great things inside your mystery jars. That was really fun to watch! My Grandma had the tums tin. Such a fun video!
They were really fun to open! I’m glad you enjoyed it too!
Loved the oil can and the tum and bullion tins! I wasn't aware bullion cubes ever came in tins. Really enjoy your vintage medicine cabinet. You be you! Enjoy your collections! Fun👍😀
Oh my! I just found 2 of the "Happy Home" needle books while helping clean out my aunt's house. I thought of your collection when I found them!
And my mom use to make the crochet hat pin cushions. I still have one in blue!
Sweet!

use a shadow box frame for the Q-tip box...
I would of paid the same for that bag of tins!! They are all amazing!!!! Oil can is stinking cute!! Love them, thanks for sharing!!!
I’m glad you made sure that pin cushion was not lonely 💕
Hehe!

The tin man’s oil can for Halloween display!! Love it. Thanks for sharing your haul.
The Bayer tin!! It brought back memories I totally forgot that's how aspirin was packaged. The old finds are so cool, love your growing collections!
Thanks!

Your eyes weren't playing tricks - a bird they are! Lovely old pair - I have a gold plated pair my mother-in-law gifted to me years ago.
I’d love to see your junk journals!!! I’m so addicted to making them and I love to see what others do in theirs😅
I’ll have to show them sometime! Thanks for the suggestion!
What great mystery jars!❤
Betty looks adorable 😊
I had that tomato pin cushion for sewing class in the 60’s! So cute with the green felt leaf on top.
My grandmother, Goldie, was also a polio survivor and lived to be 101 years old. Her legs were different lengths and different sizes around.
I remember Q-tips in the slide box! Are the trims yardage, or are they vintage ladies’ garter ties? I couldn’t tell. Love the jars of sewing notions - so much fun! I found a lot of vintage notions in my Nana’s sewing box - love them so much!
That’s a great question and I have no idea lol! I’ll have to do some research!
Love all the ventage sewing notions!!!!
Me too! Such good finds!
💕
Blue plastic needle is for sewing yarn items together.
I love your how you have the antique medicine shelf. 👍🏾
Thank you! It’s fun to find items to add!
Great haul, Nicole! Can't wait to see some of your junk journals. I'm an avid junk journal junkie. I also watch Root Pursuit - and many others.💖☺
Any other favorites I can check out?
The tums cracked me up! I remember those Qtip boxes. I try to keep a tape measure in my purse just like that one.
I love the bathroom collection. Ive been looking for vintage items for my barhroom. I have a vaseline bottle. Everything is so expensive.
Maybe an estate sale might yield better prices? Especially since those items aren’t typically thought of as collectible? 🤷♀️
Are a sewing kit for your kids with the thread and needles - add some buttons and a small pair of scissors.
I remember my mama had those bullion tins…chicken! Great finds
Great Value Decaf from Walmart is great!
Oh I’ll have to give it a try! Thanks!
You could put the Q tip box in a shadow box to protect it 💙
Look for a stand up glass only and put record in between the glass, then you can turn frame around when you want to see the other side.
I love all of your videos. It doesn’t matter what the Content is. I love your bathroom display! I want to do that same thing, but I need to find a shelf first.❤
Thank you! That is very kind!

I'm 69 and still buying. I need help.
Read Debriley's comment . Enjoy your collections till 101.I wsh you a long healthy fun filled thrifting life.

I saw a book/journal and used a zipper as opening in middle of pg it was sewn to paper
Great idea! I’ll hold onto it!
Fun video
I remember all the tinned products from my childhood, Band-Aids, spices etc &! Liver pills! Don't ask, I was just a kid!
I could use one of those tomatoes!
Do you wonder why someone dreamed up the idea of a tomato shaped pincushion? My mother owned one and so do I. I like the idea of a collection in a jar.
That is a really great question lol!
Put a red white and blue ribbon around Betty’s hat
Love that idea! Darn I saw the perfect one at the thrift store this week and seem to have left it in the bin! Now I’ll definitely have to go back!
Will u ever show ur junk journal?
Sure! I keep forgetting lol
PS, I had to look at my mom's tinned spices. Schilling spices, look 'em up!
Sweet!
Looking at the background where you are.....what is the vintage handkerchief rack? It looks sew cute....is it a spoon rack?❤😊
Yes she upcycled a spoon display to hold her hankies collection. It was on a diy video.
Yes! I got another the other day to make a similar one for hankies in my vintage booth :)
Ok this was so fun. Those tins.. ahh I'm loving all of your small collections. I personally love your garage sale and antique mall hauls. Just hanging out with you is so fun. I was thinking that a cute vintage scarf would look cute over Betty's shoulders or around her boobs. 😊

Hi Nicole 😊❤ people really point that out about your cleaning !!!, let's pray for this person to get a life😅😮😢
They do lol!

Are you sure the coffee is decaf😂 dropsies!
Right??!!
We call what meth users do as "tweaking"!
Oh no!! That’s definitely not how the kids use the word lol!
Put the measure tape around Betty's waist!
Great idea!
