Excellent run through. Great practical points. Makes you wonder if the designers actually use motorhomes.

Very informative as per usual. I've heard the hot water takes a while to come through and reusing the cold water is a great idea 💡 😊

Your hot water does seem to be an issue. We have a 2017 25-1 and it has a Suburban storage tank that runs on gas or electricity. We have less than 5 secs for the water to come through hot and it stays hot in between turning on/off. Might be worth exploring if your tank is working properly. Thanks for your video.

Hi, firstly thanks for watching and thanks for your comment.
Yes what you have is the older ‘storage tank’ system, which in my opinion is a much better idea. Now on the new vehicles they put the instantaneous systems in, but as you’ve seen not exactly instantaneous are they LOL
Another case of not everything improving with time unfortunately!
I don’t actually think there’s anything “wrong” with ours, it seems to be just the way they are. I’m still gonna look into it though 👍👍👍

With our 25-1 I’ve clocked the tap on till flame fire up time and it seems too long. We had instantaneous gas hot water on our boat which would ignite the instant the tap was on! I did wonder whether there were some adjustment that could be made, but haven’t been able to find any. Some owners have installed the temper valve to divert the cooler water back to the tank!

@@markjohns4826 ye I’m not aware of any adjustment either and yes I know about the valve but I don’t think that’s without it’s frustrations too, mainly because it STOPS the flow till the hot comes through, which wouldn’t be that nice in the shower either.
      Thanks for watching 👍
