@@nozzlering I haven't bought it yet, not atleast for the next one year, most of the times these new products have niggles that will be sorted out by the company eventually. I am hoping an updated version of Gurkha will be launched with multiple seating configurations in the future.

Yes, I'm making a response video to explain it well. The gears are somewhat fixed. Let me explain the facts in a short video. But why you really want to consider a problematic machine brother? For your info, gear issue someone what fixed! But believe me you will be still ending going to workshop, Gurkha is a heavy maintenance vehicle.
I just bought Thar 4x4 diesel manual- leaving my option to buy Gurka after seeing your video. Man I fell very relaxed calm and satisfied with my decision.

Force wanted to utilise their influence audience but they also let go of their reputation. At this stage I don’t recommend buying Gurkha, just 60+ over but today I’m still standing in workshop. They are dismantling gear box. Thar, you won’t be having these much issues, you took a good decision. At least peace of mind will be there!

There is a big difference between Thar and Gurkha. Thar has better service network. More numbers on road. So better availability of spares. Having said that, Gurkha is a capable machine. Not mass produced, so service and spares availability may be a concern. One needs to make a well informed decision.
I have bought Gurkha 5 door 3 days ago. Drove 1500 kms. So based on my first hand experience. 1. Ride quality is superb. No doubts in that. 2. Untiring driving. Good driver seat. 3. Body roll is very much in control. 4. Massive road presence. So far its been good. DO NOT make a decision based on others' reviews. As they can be biased for several reasons. Drive it yourself. I will soon put a review in my channel.

I doubt the authenticity of his alleged claims regarding the EXTREMELY poor quality of the car. Yes, there will be few niggles and issues in every new vehicle introduced by an Indian manufacturer. Look at first gen Indica or a first gen Thar, they had the initial shortfalls addressed in subsequent version updates namely Indica V2 and 2016 Thar crdi. Same goes with 2wheeler manufacturers also, early 2010-15 RE 350 & 500cc bikes. Vibrations and excessive engine heat was a major issue with RE 500cc. They ultimately discontinued the engine and introduced a better and refined J series 350cc unit in early 2020s. The important point here is that all the above vehicles with their issues and niggles were not as bad and poor in quality as you have described the 2024 Gurkha 5 Door in your videos. It would have definitely add credibility to your claims had you uploaded videos showing the exact problem being worked upon in the authorised workshop and also showed us the recordings of SA accepting poor quality of parts or atleast accepting the specific problem as claimed by you. Videos with a red car in the background is nothing more than a zoom meeting backdrop.

You are wrong match for Gurkha and vice versa. No offense but when u try to switch gears felt like u have been driving Marutis with sleeek gearbox initially. Good luck with repair sir.

Sometimes I used to feel the gear lever is going bend, and I can hear the gear teeth’s are making cranky noise. I admit I’m not an off-road driver but I used to drive MM 540, Gypsy. Can identify what is “stuck” and “tight” means!

@@navehal1019 Sir, I’m afraid you are not getting the point. 1) 2 tech experts from Pune flew down from Pune to fix the sycron (new developed)which was identified as malfunction. Which done this speed because of the pressure, I had did. 2) They were successful today and may be they are going to offer a voluntary replacement of sycron for 6.2 vehicles. 3) Now they are coming up with a solution of DPF as well. My point is - there are errors hence these action, don’t try simply make a label- Gurkha is not for you. - out of passion I brought this vehicle. Between: which ver of Gurkha are you owning?
