Thank you for your insight! You got me more excited for move in day :)
I’m so excited I move in to West Hall in a month!
i am staying in clark but this is still a super helpful video!
This was very helpful! I got accepted to UNT yesterday 😊
Destiny Hopper omg yay! that’s what i was striving for. to help kids like you out! i’m so excited for you
TJ Makes thank you 😊 I’m thinking of housing in maple or Kerr but I’m not sure yet lol
Destiny Hopper I would definitely weigh the pros and cons for each dorm and see what best fits your needs. While the Maple dorms seem a bit more spacious, Kerr is a younger dorm so the quality of room is nicer. Just some things to think about!
Hello, I am now considering between maple or bruce. Do you have any information on how the Bruce dorm is? Thank you so much.
Destiny Hopper Hi, Destiny! Bruce has nice rooms from what I could tell. The dining hall is O.K., but definitely easy to get tired of. Bruce hall is also located away from all of the other halls and is located near the music buildings - which are on top of this steep hill. I try to avoid going to Bruce if I can. I also am not a fan of the music major culture on campus, but the rooms are pretty nice. They have wood floors and walls from what I remember. It honestly depends on preference as far as the music major culture goes.
Awesome video!! Do the rooms come with a mini fridge and a microwave? Or do you have to bring that yourself ?
Thanks! I got accepted yesterday.. deciding between Kerr, maple, Bruce and victory
TBHJordanG ! Awesome! Congrats. If price isn’t a big factor for you as well as distance, then I would go with Victory. There is a bus that can take you to campus all throughout the day. Bruce is closest to everything on campus, and Maple and Kerr are pretty much the same walking distance from everything.
TJ Makes I’m looking for somewhere that has space.. and not cramped.. also close to the chemistry building since I’m chem major.. also no communal bathrooms.. dealbreaker.. and idc about price. College is expensive anyways
TBHJordanG ! So if you want to be close to the Chem building I’d go with Bruce ALTHOUGH Bruce has communal bathrooms, I believe... Those who live in Bruce don’t complain about that too much. You’re next best choice would be Kerr although it’s not nearly as close to the Chem building as Bruce is.
TJ Makes thank you! I am at the end of housing application and choosing maple
I got victory hall single room
Maple Hall used to have the Panini's on lock.
This may be a ratty question but are the bathrooms clean?
@sugarshak1 they're fairly clean. just keep up with it and make a plan with your suitmates for who is in charge of cleaning the bathroom that week
I got accepted into UNT i will be living in honors hall
@@ZX-Su I loved it we have a kitchen, and we have our own rooms along with a shared bathroom and common area.
I think im gonna be in maple hall...any other recommendations...
IJ Williams i mean it really depends on your limits and preferences. if i had to do it over again i think it’s possible i would’ve applied for west or crumley, but then again i don’t know if i’d like it as much.
TJ Makes is it close to the radio and film building? Where do you think a freshman should live with that’s major?
What about your suitmates? Do y’all get along and are the walls thin?
Aria Amal Hi, Aria! Great question. I get along with my suitmates alright. We barely ever have to talk to each other, really. Some people become really good friend with theirs! It just depends. The walls can be pretty thin, but people can be nice about being asked to quiet down. I have my suitmate’s numbers in case of anything, and it’s happened only once or twice where I’ve asked them to keep it down.
Does maple hall have a kitchenette?
Leah kea unfortunately, no. rawlins has a kitchenette which isn’t too far from maple, and so does crumley, which isn’t too far either.
i'm planning on living in victory
You seem like the sweetest person ever. Thanks for the video! It’s so helpful!!!
