Hello there dear flower patch lady, oh my goodness, video is absolutely blooming 😊 lovely 😍. I am thoroughly enjoying the tours ,watching everything blooming, changing. So many many lovely s that i feel they are all my favourites 😊. Dont you find that once blooming begins there's no stopping, or showing down,.oh i have to say your hair is lovely and healthy, as for makeup, you are just like your lovely flowers blooming, no make-up needed. Im sure all us flower patch followers would agree..i didn't know i liked petunias and pansies as much as i now do..pansies have a way with yhem of being so beautiful but so silent dont n they. All in little choir rows..my little reduced pot of them keeps on blooming. Petunias too..im definitely hoping to get another rose..hopefully decide after i have a browse 😊. Thankyou so much, sending love to you and your family, oh garden girls also, from me and my garden girls 🐔. Too.oh yes definitely memories to so many of our plants, thankyou.xxx
The pansies in the secret cottage garden are still going strong even after the heat wave we had last week. They don't show any signs of slowing down. Thank you for your kind words.
oh my goodness what stunning iris's and rose's. you have a beautiful garden. thank you for sharing with us. my iris's are done blooming already. and your's are still going strong.
Temps can make a difference and yours may have started before mine. But I also buy early, mid and late blooming varieties so I can have iris in bloom longer. A new one opened this morning called Fall Fiesta, I love it!
Your flower garden is so beautiful right now!! Especially loved the foxglove and irises!
Thanks so much 😊
Good morning Pam 🤗 your Rose Alley is gorgeous. It seems like it was only a few weeks ago that you were covered in snow!! Its magical.
Well, April wasn't that long ago. Things change so fast, that is what I remind myself when we get those late snows! It is looking fantastic and I can't be out in the garden enough right now. My house, well, it is rather shabby looking inside right now but I am fine with that.
Everything is just BEAUTIFUL!
Thank you, I am soaking it up as much as I can!
Beautiful looking natural pollinator garden, Its the bees knees.
Yes, I have tons of pollinators!
Pamela, your garden is beautiful! Thank you for sharing!
You are so welcome, I do love to share and it helps keep me on track of my garden journal to look back on in the winter.
❤ So beautiful with all your irises and roses ❤
Thank you, they are two of my favorite bloomers!
I didn't even notice you didn't have make-up on. Pretty either way.
And I don't think I'll ever get over what INCREDIBLE iris you have.
The Iris do love it here, but I just found one sucked down a gopher hole! I hate to be negative but that gopher is going to be TOAST.
Absolutely beautiful!
Thank you so much!
Fantastic tour! Thank you so much!!!
Glad you enjoyed it!
Gorgeous!
Thank you! 😊
Everything is looking beautiful! ❤
Thank you. It is a great time of year to just soak up all the color and enjoy!
Gorgeous! Especially your varieties of irises. I have never seen many of those varieties
And the foxgloves and roses 🌹
I get them from Superstition Iris Gardens, Suttons and Schreiners.
they are outdoing themselves this year, Thank you!
Everything looks beautiful!!!
Can you show your pond in one of your upcoming videos??
Yes, I keep forgetting my little pond. Thank you for the reminder! It is filled with pollywogs at the moment and worthy of sharing.
Loved the tour!
Thank you, I try to do them weekly as so much changes so quickly.
Thanks so much, Pamela, for your videos. All of your roses and everything else is so gorgeous! By the way, I believe they still do make Creamsicles'. I think sometimes they're called Dreamsicles'. Either way, they are both delicious. Fudgesicles' are my favorite too.
I wonder if they taste as wonderful as they did when I was a kid. Yes, fudgsicles are a favorite of mine too. I think I need to buy a box to indulge in once in a while this summer as I sit in the garden.
I put milk in orange juice and it makes it taste like a creamsickle. Plus it seems to mellow the acid in the juice. Too harsh for me to drink OJ by itself. But then when I rarely drink a "hecho in Mexico" Coca Cola I put milk in that, too.😊
Hi Pam, Good Morning! Loving this cottage garden style of yours! Such beautiful plants, wow! I was wondering if you tried to cut back the columbine and see if you get a second flush? Some varieties do work for me if I do that. Of all your climbing roses, which one is your favourite? Happy Gardening!
I will have to try and cut them back and see. The blue has been especially gorgeous this year and I have a few of them. I will let one go to seed and cut back the other two to see if they will bloom again. Thanks for the suggestion! Wow, I really can't pick a favorite climbing rose, they all have different attributes I find appealing. I would say though that my Jasmina is really drawing my eye everything I walk past her. Though Albertine is just starting to bloom and usually has gorgeous flowers.
I need hardy roses also and never had a DA rose, but a gal in IN has the Bathsheba and it is full and huge!
Now, the verbascum, I have Southern Charm and Katie’s Candles 2nd year and are blooming, but yours are the second ones I’ve seen this morning and both have much more foliage as mine are just a flat rosette-maybe it needs more time. Some warmth wouldn’t hurt after all this rain, but I’m afraid by mid week the heat dome will be here 🥵. Go from 48* this morning to 80s mid week. Have another cool day and night to get the heavy work done.
Yes Fudge and Dreamsicles were my fav also! Once in a great while I get them.
Finally had a peony bloom and it was red and was given another and it was red. At least I know I can grow them.
The irises are gorgeous, I need to get a few more varieties and this fall split up an older grouping. The penstemon grew around the new Josephine clematis and perfect pink and purple compliments. I just started them from seed last year and glad they returned.
Nice flowers Pam. Always nice to compare to see if mine are performing the way they should. Thx!
I lost my Josephine clematis and need to replace it, Josephine was my paternal grandmothers name and she was a big garden lover and taught me a lot. We had a big heat wave and now it has calmed down to much milder temps so everything should keep looking perky and not melt in the heat. I do have to say it took a couple years for the verbascum to sturdy up.
@@FlowerPatchFarmhouse thank you for the info about verbascum. Debated whether to deadhead, but want it to reseed and may not get another bloom. Purchased Josephine from our local Jungs store last year and it really took off. A family member use to call my MIL Josephine vs. JoAnn. I had a blue clematis that had the same double bloom and left it at the last residence and I need to get that one again.
