I love how he reacts to his shinies. I can't imagine going for thousands of encounters without a shiny. I think that would drive me crazy. The legendaries like Sogaleo and Zygard have such pretty shinies. Man I wish I could have got those in the original game those Pokémon came out in.

I'm just over 1800 eggs on my Nidoran-M with Shiny Charm+MM and haven't seen a single shiny yet. Seeing your Vulpix hunt has me terrified as I need it to not only be male, but also have hustle. At least I know nightmares happen to other people too haha.
This video is so bitter sweet. I can’t wait to play bdsp but seeing sword and shield slowly kind of fade away is sad because that was the first Pokémon game I ever played.
On October 28th, 2021 I got a Shiny Tyrouge from a Raid Den and I also got a Shiny Absol from a Remote Raid invite in Pokémon Go AT THE EXACT SAME TIME! I lost my mind and thankfully caught BOTH Shinies! The Tyrouge I originally named Mike Tyson because I wanted to evolve him into Hitmonchan, but unfortunately he had 31 Attack IV’s so he evolved into Hitmonlee instead. I changed his name to Ricardo. I also have a Shiny Corvisquire named Cassidy on that same save file. I was running around in the grass on Route 2 trying to get a Blipbug to add to my team, and all of a sudden SHINY ROOKIDEE!🥰🤩 That’s my fifth Switch profile and thus my fifth play through of Sword.
That Mint Chip Z luck of yours with only 16 encounters is just so awesome. I'm well over 200 successful (and who knows how many failed) attempts at Zygarde. You earned it after that Solgaleo hunt though.

brilliant diamond and shining pearl are going to be really great games for a shiny hunting, especially for people like me because you will finally be able to hear the sparkles again. As opposed to so many visual options. Can’t wait.

Cannot wait for shiny hunting in BDSP. Haven’t done a whole lot in SWSH but I definitely plan to in BDSP. Love the hype you bring Dan, this video was awesome.
