I actually feel like that has kinda changed and they've gotten a lot closer-- even though they're long distance. Especially since Drive 'N Drag! Not to mention that Crystal commented "Dibs" on trade worthy photos on Gigi's Instagram and Gigi is always spazzing over Crystal's mullet and how stunning she is on Twitch streams that she does with House of Avalon. Plus, seeing as how they ARE currently long distance and can't travel much to see each other because of COVID-19, things aren't really physical, but could change when they get into the same room. That's at least how it seems to me. Plus, she said she missed her body in that Cameo! Maybe they just keep that stuff private so that they have a part of their relationship that's just for them, since they very publicly fell in love.
