It’s crazy how Hulvey started out and how much he’s changed. Like how in this song he’s singing about hoping to find love and then seeing he got married and gonna have a son soon is crazy. We never know how our future may go but if we get God to lead the way it’ll always be far better than we thought it’d be.
I like this dude, I really really do. His heart is genuine and he has a 🔥 for Jesus. definitely my favorite rapper 😊🙏🖤🖤🖤

I think the beauty of this visual is that he is performing his internal conflict to an empty audience.
As he is relatively new to the game, he has expressed the struggle of working towards accolades and becoming content. Him sharing the hardwork he has put in has now led to him just feeling as if he has to do this. His outlet to be creative in expressing his worship to God has become something as work.
Life that is intentional to worshipping God is hard, not the specific work itself but the heart behind our work and how our initial intention and heart filled affection slowly changes. As you see in Revelation when Christ said about the church who had great deeds but needed to go back their first love.
Performing in front of an empty audience to me (I'm probably wrong) shows that he is mainly writing this song for himself. To remind him of the reality that he is in. As though his performances filled with crowds can be for the crowds, this performance was for himself.
This reminds me of one of Shai line's songs in the still Jesus album. The interlude "One day" that states, "when the crowd doesnt follow and empty venues are all I see.... when it's only you and me you and me, you will be you will be, all I need all I need."
For someone relatively young in his career, he has expressed wisdom in knowing how the motions can go. We hopefully will see him express an intention to continue his original message and not get it twisted.

Wow, I can't describe how much this speaks to my life rn man! My life got turned around (in a great way, bless the Lord), but now I'm noticing the pressure is weighing in on me. I'm blessed with the things I get to do for Him, the new job I got, my own place, all answered prayers! But I never learned how to cope with the burden of carrying so much responsibilities on my own... It really feels tiring to keep going through these motions, but this song really gives a lot of perspective. It's not all about me, I gotta focus in on Jesus, and what He wants from me.
