Isn’t it wonderful we all have different tastes? Otherwise, every home would look exactly the same and boring! There are a few things I’d change, but overall, design and decor suits the place. great job! 👏🏼
Stunning property. There is so much to love about the interior features. That formal living room - I die. But that entry way is cavernous and lacking charm.
presumably, the inhabitants have yet to move back in but the staging makes this place look worse than it could have. the tile work in the foyer is lovely, but it is so bizarre to enter into such a clinical looking space, no runners, rugs, or doormats, especially considering how the wet climate is. the placement of the new closet has awful vibes. instead of inviting a guest into the home, and walking with them to hang their coat, there's a sense of regression, almost a "go back the way you came" kind of feeling. portland is a very dark city and the decisions to lean into really dark high gloss paint in the dining room, and the cold tone they refinished the mahogany in, looks oppressive and gauche. there's nothing fun or characterful in this house, boring generic abstract art all over the walls, almost all of the same scale, with few, if any, nods to the sculptural or geometric art that'd be better reflective of the period. there's none of the joy, detail, or extravagance of art deco. boring.
NOT GATSBY AT ALL!!!! Completely dreadful, depressing, no joy, ruined the lovely bones and architecture of a lovely house, the “drab” entryway was made worse…..go watch Gatsby and look at deco videos, movies from the 20’s, 30’s, 40’s……ugh this was dreadful
Brilliant work, home and property are stunning. The hidden in-wall cabinets for the formal dishes . So great. The bar nook off the kitchen!
So many things to love!
When money and good taste collide!

Perhaps I could appreciate the details if the lighting was turned on in the very dark spaces.
Great work!

I afraid black is becoming the equivalent of the 70's avocado green.
It’s incredibly dark. And really weird taste. I love 30s homes, it could have been amazing. 😢
Your design has no charm or respect for the original vision of the place.

OMG take the QR code off the screen!
Whisky in one room, Martini on this yellow sofa and Champagne in dressing room...just saying

Chic yet timeless! Please remove the QR code on the video - really distracting!
Beautiful, beautiful home but the decor is so lacking in any personality. So bland. Looks like nobody lives there.
