In order of satisfaction: Springboks, Argentina, NZ, Australia. Boks did what was expected and managed to blood new guys in the process. Argentina went to NZ and won a game, they couldn't have asked for better than a split. NZ dropped a game they shouldn't have, can't be happy with that - And smashing Arg the following week doesn't make up for crapping the bed the week before. Australia hasn't won and look like they have a lot of work to do.
As an ABs fan I'm not content. Losing to Argentina was a big hit. And it's mostly because they didn't bring the intensity - if they had played the first test like they did the second they would have won easily. Not by 30 points, because Arg played about as well as they could and they are not a bad team - but the ABs could and should have beaten them in NZ. I had hoped that kind of let down loss was gone when Fossie left and it was frustrating because they clearly weren't up for the game like they should have been. Now I'd say there is about a 75% chance the Boks win the RC.
Argentina are the happiest. They’ve beat the ABs at home, which will be in the top 5 of their greatest achievements ever. The Boks are second then it’s probably Australia, then the ABs.
@@jameswebb-hl2vu honestly mate, I don’t think anyone in the RC actually cares about the RC as a contest, it’s more about individual rivalries with the ABs, while the ABs only care about always winning and the trophy is just usually a byproduct. So I think the Pumas will be the happiest even if they lose every other game this season!
@kevinewert4037 just happy for them they got a win in NZ. They were over the moon with the win. Maybe partied all week that is why lost second game so bad. Springboks got two bonus point wins over Wallabies but Pumas will be happier.
Its a delicate balance for Rassie, as the Springboks, there should be not a lot of deviation from our DNA even with this bruhaha about an evolving style of play!!!
As a Bok supporter I don't think we can be comfortable at all. 'If' we win the next to tests against NZ then a big yes. We had Ireland not to long ago and fluffed that really. Hard games but came out 50/50. NZ bounced back powerfully against the Argies, but I think the Argies are best set to take some scalps and win against AUS in both if they don't blow hot and cold as they are known to do. I think, no matter who the winner is of the Championship, the Argies are best positioned to make the most gains and set this as their best ever showing at the tournament.
SA, Argentina, Australia, NZ. Rating Australia over NZ because they've managed to keep the scoreline as low as it's been against SA. Should've really been a cricket score.
As a Kiwi, I’m not comfortable at all, especially heading off to South Africa. With the loss of Whitelock and Retalick we are lacking tall timber and can’t win lineouts. Those Springboks are monsters and seem to grow many of them well over 2 metres and I hate losing to those SAFFAs. Scott Barrett is 1.97 and Ardie Savea is 1.88 while most South African pack is over 2.0 metres. No wonder Razor was asking Whitelock to come out of retirement for another year. We seem to be shrinking.
Not true! RG 206cm, Eben 204cm, PSDT, 200cm, Nortje 200cm, Moerat 200cm, Dixan 198cm, Louw 195cm, Kwagga 180cm, Wiese 189cm, Kolisi 189cm. Those are the players in the current squad. Not in the squad: Mostert 198cm, De Jager 200cm, Venter 198cm, Roos 191cm. I didn't list the hookers or props. So where do you get the info that most of our players are "well over 2m"? Only Eben and RG are over 2m tall.
@@Alias-gy3tz Our loose forwards are too short. You mentioned at least 5 SAFFAs 2 metres or above. We are going to have to ruck, scrum and not kick for touch to beat the land of giants. I’m nervous and I don’t know what you guys eat over there.
I'm sorry, but as a neutral observer you're not aware of how cutthroat NZ fans and media can be. So many people right now are not satisfied with where the ABs are, and were calling for overly dramatic action after the Argentina loss. Add in the recent coaching drama, and it's becoming a bit of a cesspool 😅. Also, have you forgotten we played Fiji as well? So 4/5 wins.
Rebuild ? I keep hearing this. We have lost 5 guys. 3 to retirement of some sort. However All blacks don't rebuild. We are not rebuilding. I keep saying this
Everybody is building/rebuilding for 2027. The All Blacks are not the only team who have players that retired, or players that are at the back end of their careers. Did you see the amount of new players the Boks are blooding? Expect more over the next few years. I can't wait to see Cameron Hanekom get a chance in the green and gold, hopefully we will see him in the end of year tour.
@@Alias-gy3tz Two completely different scenarios. The Boks still have a number of highly successful players within their team, whereas the ABs have lost all-time greats in key areas where they lack depth.
@@icefarrow7959 Cry me a river. Why didn't you built depth? Excuses, that is all it is. Isn't Super Rugby the best competition on the planet according to the kiwi's? 1. Argentina 2. South Africa 3.NZ 4. Australia. NZ and Australia are a bit of a toss-up tbh, I doubt either is happy.

Agree Argentine as they still hsve a chance of winning the championship could also argue they have a great chance if they just turn up to last 4 games

ABs 4th. Do not accept losses. Still fancy them to jag a win in SA though, perhaps at Cape Town
