Don't listen to people who tell you what you shouldn't do. You are a free man to do whatever video you want to.... Because of the people who serve and have served in our military. I think that you did a great job and it was good of you to do that. So thank you.
Thanks Mike for the moving Rembrance Day video. It was a treat to see some Canadian vets as well in the video. My thanks to all the men and women who serve their country
Loved the Veterans Day salute I’m a veteran & I was a part of the Vietnam era we we’re treated badly & medical care was not good but fast forward things are better but we still have a long way to go for are men& women. Thank you
I so appreciate the way you regard your animals, even the pumpkin flavored bacon and the steers going to freezer camp. I also appreciate your philosophy and how you live it.
I am always amazed by folks who are critical of someone else's content, when they have no content of their own. They'll take the time to fire off a Karen email, just so you know what you did wrong. You drive the bus, Mike. Everyone else sit down, shut up and hold on. There will be detours and rough road ahead. LOL Thanks for sharing, Mike and Erin. -EZ
Brene Brown says- don’t listen to the nah-sayers, if they aren’t also in the arena! So, same as your comment, unless they have their own you tube content, then shut up and keep scrolling!
Anybody who objects to you honoring veterans are likely the cowards whom never served our country or made the sacrifices that we have. God bless you for doing such a beautiful tribute. It was an honor to serve. I'm lucky to be alive and grateful for everyday. So many of my fellow soldiers didn't return alive or still MIA. God bless you and your beautiful family 📿📿📿
Wish I had sent you pictures of my Daddy, Son and Grandson who all serviced in the Armed Forces. Too late now. But I really look forward to seeing the video of everyone later today. Thanks Mike for honoring our vets and soldiers. God Bless them and you. ❤🙏
If YOU COME to a channel you get what the channel wants to present.....not necessarily what you want. What ranchers believe in is part of ranching..just as your believe are in yours. Might be a good idea to check your expectations at the door and just enjoy.
I agree 100% another thing people could do is if they see that a certain video is going to deal with content you don't want to see then it is ok to skip that video and not watch it.
Thank you for recognizing our veterans. Never mind the complainers. A local restaurant has a sign that says ‘don’t be rude to our staff. If you think you can do better, we are taking applications.’
Pumpkin flavored bacon, I love it! Thanks for honoring our veterans. Your videos are interesting and informative. If someone doesn’t like your videos no one is forcing them to watch. A constructive comment or question is fine but there’s no reason to be nasty. Have a safe winter
Wow that's awful. Isn't always something. Thank Goodness you could shut it off. Great video. I really love the weekly vlog. Thank you for honoring Our Veteran's. My family men are Veteran's and my son is still serving after 20yrs. He is now deployed. I appreciate the vlog that you did.God bless.
Good Sunday morning Mike. I am ready for this week video. I feel for you and the cows this time of year but hope you get the snow and rain needed for a good hay field.
Honoring the military vets is just as important to show us because it's part of what you do. That being said I'd like to say thank you as well for your service. I don't think I've ever said this to you before.
Impressive balancing act while cleaning and fixing the water tank float issues. I’m so glad you didn’t slip. 😬 Great video as usual. I don’t understand people complaining about the content. No one is forcing them to watch. Just stay true to yourself and beliefs and keep up the awesome videos. I personally love the variety in your channel. ❤️
Another excellent video. Saw your Memorial Day/Remembrance Day video extremely well done. Any negative remarks should only be ignored. Ranchers, Farmers, Loggers, Fishermen etc. that have a connection with the land and sea seem to have a different set of values and morals than most people in larger urban settings maybe because of the pressures and stress of every day life. Your values are sincere and your moral compass is reading True North. Don't ever let public opinion sway that. Your Canadian Friend/Fan
Great video Mike 😊👍🏻 And one more time thank you that you added my son to the veteran's video. We're from Germany 🇩🇪 and he served on a German War Ship for several years. Many times he tell that it was great when they worked together with American Warships all over the seas. We have to thank these men and women doing this for us and our freedom 💖 but here in Germany the soldiers are not beeing mentioned and honoured. So sad...
My father was a Korean War veteran, a Naval Medical Corpsman, Howard T. Millard. I miss him everyday. I love swiss chard, we used to grow it, my dad was an amazing gardener. We had a tornado warning November 09 in Kitsap County, Bremerton Washington, it's been really windy here too.
Man I'm really sad that the 30 + 30 is over I find myself going back and re watching them all over again I hope you will do another 30 and 30 very soon
Mike thank you I just want to say thank you I am of that my sister died today Veterans Day my heart ripped apart thank you for you did on veterans day I’ve been watching you from day one thank you Mike

Unfortunately, those individuals were "Giving Thanks for Freedom" by remembering all who have served, we recognize their willing and endured hardships and fears, so we could live in "PEACE". Thank you all for your service!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! God Bless you Mike & family
I was nervous when you were fixing the water and had your phone in your back pocket! Glad you had a nice gentle way to get the cows back into the pasture you wanted them in! They’re like Mike is so nice to us giving us this yummy hay to eat! Hey what you got there hey that’s my butt! Oh well at least you took me out to dinner first! Good luck girls!
You do a huge bit of recycling or upcycling with your reusung of various materials, i wtched you build a wind break and gates etc using parts from your recycle pile!, And it saves you money too. The amount and scope larger than most folks creat in a year you do in one project! As a plumber type we call the thread sealant, pipe dope. The installation of teflon tape is the same as threads , right tightly lefty loosely.God bless you and family Mike , and His hand of prosperity upon your business also.
I grew up on a farm in the 60's, We burned paper/cardboard, composted directly on the garden which got roto tilled in the spring. and once a year we recycled our metal. we did not have any garbage service. we also dug a pit and buried what we could not use.
I'm glad you honor those who serve or have served. You will always have those who complain. I was waiting for you to take a dip in the tank. That would have been good for the channel :) We have had some windy nasty weather here also. Thanks for sharing. Keep doing what you do. Iowa is watching :)
My blunt response to the haters F@3#$ off. This is your channel, your life, and we are just along for the ride. Thank you for honoring our service members - all of them not just our US members (including my trouble making son😂).
Hey Mike, Sonne Farms has a video called "Would You Like Fries with That?". In it, Cole adds quick couplers to his water tanks to make watering easier so he can take it off the float so the floats don't freeze in early morning/overnight. He just has to time the watering. Might be worth checking out.
Mike thanks for doing the veterans Day video as a military brat and a widow of a veteran I greatly appreciate that. I look forward to you Wednesday video and the preg checking can't wait to see who's pregnant and who's not and how that's going to shake out as how many cows you're going to keep back and all that how that's going to stack up for the winter and for the ranch. God bless yall
Glad you answered those burning questions. Haven,t viewed and commented for a while but vacationed at a resort with the grandkids at Martha,s Vineyard MA this past summer and they had same fire engine as yours they gave rides on...thought a summer story would warm you up some.
Your Wyoming Life has become a part of my life. I find your presentations most interesting. Your no nonsense way of handling problems and managing your ranch are great. I am praying that you and your ranch can survive the winter and that you have a lot of positive preg checks.
When someone wants to know what you do with your trash just tell them if they pay for shipping they can have it. When someone comments you should do a video about one thing or another just tell them you have or will and thank them for commenting. Easy peazy!
At my first job 50 years ago we used galvanized pipe for drinking water. Horrible taste after a short time and inside gets loaded with rust greatly reducing the inside diameter. I use brass nipples & pipe fittings. Goof balls in CA have labels on brass & even copper fittings because they contain a minute amount of lead.
Fix your trash incinerator So it has an opening in the bottom and you can put your loader bucket under it. Open the door standing up wind. Spread with a cab tractor. Just like your incinerator ,InvestmentMaybe for several generations. Too bad you cannot utilize the heat in the winter time.
I remember the first winter I moved over here from Greybull one of the standpipes in the old buffalo corral (the guy that owned this place raised and sold buffalo at one time) broke and was shooting water in the air.. it made a mess of ice 10 foot tall.. kinda pretty until we had to dig down 9 feet to cap the pipe!! Then it was just wet and cold
Sometimes those jobs that don’t get done are because you found new jobs in the summer that had priority and thru you off balance, like finding hay to get you thru the winter and getting it to the Ranch to name one. Now it’s winter and you’ll find jobs you should get done prior to summer but new things will fall into your path thats Life on Our Wyoming Ranch 🥰
I love to watch you with all the animals and how you talk to them. Bean is awesome. My daughter had a Chihuahua she called Bean for a nickname. Her real name was Ralphaella Isabella Donatella. 😊 BTW the veteran's day video was great; it brought tears to the eyes. I've had veterans in my family and my son-in-law's brother is currently serving. Keep up the vlogs and don't let negative people bother you. I've learned a lot from watching you and about three other ranching vlogs. I'm a city girl, I'm 76, in Indiana so I love all this. Thank you!
Congraulation thanks to all of Our Veterans , God Bless You, thanks for sharing Mike from Our Wyoming Life prayers are on the way for everyone today. It's great to show others what you do for your lovely family of putting things together and showing others how it work out. I wanna be like Mike, have a great day.
Sir i thank you for honouring all of our vets and allied vets if anyone disagrees i say move back to you other country try living thank you mike and giving thanks and honour is part of your life in farming
Hello Mike, Your comment about "low stress or no stress" says a awful lot about you as a rancher, also I've never seen you use a "hotshot". I have never been a rancher, but I know that cruelty is never the way to go. Thanks for respecting your livestock.
I agree with you.. Mike uses "tools" such as the gator with it's back filled up with cake and gets the cows to move where he wants them with that or the paddle that rattles (sorry I don't know the name for it) he will herd them with the 4 wheeler. Yes sometimes he will call a cow dumb dumb but I have never seen him be mean to any of the animals, he seems to really try his best to not stress out the cows when he is needing to move them, if a mama cow is having trouble finding her baby he will help her find it.
I thought the veteran tribute was great and enjoyed the content thoroughly. I hope those that find enjoyment in what you do speak higher volumes than those that don't. Nice job on this video Mike, I hope you and your family have a great week ahead. Thanks!
FLatten your boxes, they take up much less space. Recycle paper, have it in a separate waste basket in the house. Mail, newspapers, etc. can be put in it. Also, if you have tin cans ie: string beans, peas, etc. Remove both ends of can, place the round ends inside the can, and step on it. It takes up much less room. Any plastic things that you have, cut or break into small pieces...takes up much less room. Hope this helps.....Oh, and Christmas wrap? don't crumple it up...instead, fold it after opening the gifts....and recycle it to your burn barrel. These are just a few helpful hints to help you save on the cost of having the company come out, and empty the large bin of trash. Bev in Maine.
Good morning. Thanks for sharing this. Very enjoyable. Thanks for sharing the Veterans Day video. Loved it. 🙌🙌🙌 🦃 🇱🇷 Turkey time is coming for you folks. Ours 🇨🇦 was last month. Be blessed.
Teflon tape always goes on clockwise. Never install tape on first thread. I have seen where tape was installed beyond the first thread to only break off and cause damage to small cehmical pumps & solenoids.
Another great video sir. I'll admit I was waiting for you to take that bath lol. Also appreciate your standing up for the veterans day video. They deserve nothing less. Sad state of country that people would be offended by such.
I totally got it about recycling. You are doing the best of you can without having a town recycling program. People want honesty and then bash you for it lol. Can’t win
I thought your remembrance video was beautifully done, and very appropriate and moving. It's so important to bear their sacrifice in mind, especially given the freedoms we enjoy as a result. Two words suffice for those who are so self centred that they can't appreciate that.
Mike I appreciate you putting together the veterans it was so good brought back a lot of memories but that's okay thank you for everything you've done with the veterans photos God bless you
Ashes you can spread out on ice roads around your farm. We did that always in the Netherlands. Its great you don't slip annymore. Its 68 years ago. All the neighbours were doing it to. So cars and busses can still drive.
Great video honoring the veterans and thank you personally for your service! I’m surprised you don’t add the ash from your incinerator into the compost pile. We heated our house with a wood stove burning pallets from my fathers work. We would burn the good old solid oak pallets with nails and all and when we cleaned out the ash we added it to our compost pile. We used to put all kinds of crazy stuff in the compost like fish bones guts and heads, my dad also used to bring home cows blood from work. He was a pHd Bacteriologist, virologist and worked for a veterinary medicine company. He made all kinds of medicine for animals like you raise matter of fact I’m sure that your Father In Law used some meds that my Dad made!
The OCD in me wanted to see you go get all the cows and close all the gates. Lol on the farm in NZ we burnt everything that didn't compost. All the left over that didn't burn got buried in a pit. As for the water float repair, it's always something. Had my own outside "old faithful" moment this week; So Thankful I know where the water turn off is at and the plumbers phone number. Oh...Dad saw his pics...Thank you.

I figured you empty the incinerator with the wind kickin' 50s, and just open the door.
I learned something new.
I have thought about that :)

Mike, thank you very much for honoring our veterans. Past and Present. I am a U.S. Army Veteran so thank you for everything
Ooo! The ash will be great to add to the soil.
Ignore the people who dislike the honoring videos. You did just fine.

These are just a few helpful hints to help you save on the cost of having the company come out, and empty the large bin of trash. Bev in Maine.
What amazes me is it never too cold to wear a Stetson Hat. I would at least wear ear warmers. 👂
Good morning.
Thanks for sharing this. Very enjoyable.
Thanks for sharing the Veterans Day video. Loved it. 🙌🙌🙌 🦃 🇱🇷 Turkey time is coming for you folks. Ours 🇨🇦 was last month. Be blessed.
Glad you enjoyed it
Teflon tape always goes on clockwise.
Can’t win
agreed!
I thought your remembrance video was beautifully done, and very appropriate and moving. It's so important to bear their sacrifice in mind, especially given the freedoms we enjoy as a result.
Two words suffice for those who are so self centred that they can't appreciate that.
Frozen water sure can make a mess! Love seeing the cows come in. Great video Mike!
I can watch this all day.
A you say, the ultimate recycling program for foodscraps. Zero waste.
Always nice to see daily life. Im a vet, and thank you
The OCD in me wanted to see you go get all the cows and close all the gates.
Good Morning, from Buckeye, AZ Don't let the na Sayers get you down. Great videos keep them going. Thank you
