Had this on vhs the day it released from local skate shop. Was super hyped and it lived up to it and then some. This is easily one of the best skate videos of all skate videos. Watching it now brings on so many good memories.
Got this on VHS from my elder brother back in the ninethies. An interesting mix of indie rock, with an Alien Workshop / Toy Machine-vibe to it! Love the interviews with the skaters.
+Jonas Polsky I think he makes sausages. He is probably 40 or so. I hate the feeling of everyone getting old also. Sometimes I watch these old skate video's and it freaks me out how everyone is old now and it is not the same watching the new dudes even though they are really good it's not the same as the guys we grew up with. One of my favorite Josh Beagle movies is Barbarians at the Gate even thought it is mainly them fooling around and no skating it was nostalgic and brings me back to 7th grade.
I'm an old dude too, but I have a weird tendency to look these guys up and see what they're doing now. Mostly they got jobs in the corporate side of skating, but some are filmmakers, or in graphic design. I get that what Beagle does is probably a skilled/artisan type of butcher, but it's still labor, and made me sad.
So there's Josh Beagle and "Beagle." "Beagle" is a younger dude that got nicknamed Beagle because he looks like Josh Beagle, but he's a totally different guy.
It's an all instrumental soundtrack made for the video by the Beastie Boys. It's on Spotify but I can't reach it because I don't want to make an account. (ps: I'm a moderator on skatevideosite, I'll adjust it)
I used to see him walking around Ocean Beach, San Diego years ago. I think he skates of course for fun but his video parts and glory days are most likely over. It's hard to go as big as he did when your in your mid 30's.
he was my fave skater for a quick minute mid 90s....gave all of us nerd skaters someone to look up to. He then got on his rap tip and named himself thelonious monk, i believe...he had that kool keith awkward style but on some spiritual martial arts steez,
I asked ed templeton two years ago about steve and said that muska keeps in touch with him. Muska told me he's doing great and that he has music on bandcamp under The Crazy Monk.
Rolling Thunder was what got me into skateboarding back in the 90s .. this, all the 411VM videos, and Toy Machine’s Welcome To Hell, got me hooked!
One of the Greatest Skateboard Videos ever.
Wil taylor wow. Good part ahead of his time to be recognized.
His Ollie is what I strived for 😅 still
Paul Sharp had some serious pop!
I love Steve Berra's two trick combination at 21:01 ,he's got a good halfcab flip and backside kickflip.

Thanks again
Shout out to the dude who uploaded this video and all the other old videos

Live this fucking vid. Thanks Sigmund.
Found out today that Josh Beagle works as a butcher now, and I'm pretty bummed.

I am not sure. I checked skatevideosite.com which has soundtracks for skate video's but they don't have one for rolling thunder unfortunately.
