For example, Jooyeon wears the same sports shirt all the time for performances, O.de loves crop tops and tank tops, and Jun Han wears a lot of maxi skirts. That type of thing isn't common among K-Pop groups, they usually have very pre-planned outfits. As far as the production stuff goes... they consider themselves both a K-Pop group AND a rock group. They operate in both spheres. Although you may not be a big fan of K-Pop, there is nothing inherently wrong, bad, or low-quality about it. So of course, since they also conder themselves a K-Pop group, they will include elements that are common of those groups. They don't just need to set themselves apart from other K-Pop groups, they need to set themselves apart from other rock groups as well. And playing instruments isn't enough to set you apart in the K-Pop industry anyway―K-Bands are pretty common, if sadly overlooked. I've never been the biggest fan of genre purity myself. I don't believe that you need to be "authentic" to one genre of music. Of course, rock can be considered a culture as well as a genre, and that's a completely different discussion. As far as music and marketing goes though, they are not one thing or the other and they don't need to be. They can embrace both parts of their identity however they desire to do so.

Inside of the kpop thing, we can find groups and bands but kpop is connected more to groups like Stray Kids, BTS, NewJeans etc...but apart from that genre there are a lot of other artists starting from hiphop, rock, indie, alternative rock and one thing I've seen is that they mix a lot of different genres when finding their own colour. The Rose, Wave to Earth, Glen Check, FTISLAND, Day6, Silica Gel, Onewe...are some of the bands I like along with Xdinary Heroes, all different genres. But then, there are some solo artists that also fit into those genres such as WOODZ, Dvwn, Gaho, LOREN and more. So maybe checking other not that known korean musicians might be more suitable for you rather than the most popular kpop bands, as those kind of groups pursue a more pop and mainstream kind of music.
They released some live performances for the other songs from their album like Paint It, No matter, Walking to the moon, Night of fireworks, Moneyball and Undefined. I hope you can react to them and also to their early songs. ❤
They have a lot of bands that influence them mostly 90s to 2000s if I remember correctly, for example Gunil the drummer listening to Muse a lot, Jooyeon really likes 5 seconds of summer. About their outfit, it's because they come from big kpop agency which is JYPE, so they need to keep the image as well. Image as in perfection and compatibility with their mv and song concept. Mushroomhead came out with 2 new songs. One is called “Fall in Line” and the other is called “Prepackaged”. Then the band As I Lay Dying has also 2 new songs. The first one is “Burden” and the other one is “The Cave We Fear to Enter.” Plus check out some of these songs out by Imminence. Some songs like “Continuum”, “Chasing Shadows”, “Alleviate”, “Heaven Shall Burn”, “The Sickness”, “Paralyzed”, “Heaven in Hiding”, and “Ghost”. These bands are amazing. By chance, you have done any of these videos or bands before then I apologize.
