      Say what you want man, but no QB has had multiple OC's , in his first 4 years the line sucked. No WRs till Marshall and Jeffrey came. It is what it is didn't work out couldn't get what everyone thought we could get out of him.

    Say what u want about cutler, he was one hell damn of a quart back, offensive line was the reason why he sucked, injuries piled on him because the o line could not protect. Just imagine how different it would be if we had our o line problems fixed. But thank you cutler for everything, may the best of luck be with u

    I will never argue that Cutler was a great QB. But he was decent, and as bad as it makes us look, being decent makes you one of the best QBs the Bears have ever had. All these cunts in the comments saying good riddance need some perspective. Maybe you're all just too young, but the guys who came before Cutler made me want to stab my eyes out every time I saw them play. Do you guys understand what it feels like to be more excited when your team is on defense, because you have a greater chance of scoring that way?
    Cutler is not an elite QB, and never has been. He will not win you games by himself like Rodgers can. He needs a supporting cast. A solid offense and a solid defense and good, consistent coaching. He never had 2 of those things at the same time, and when the team failed, he bared most or all of the blame despite the shortcomings of the team. Don't even bring up his attitude or body language, because that is the most BS argument. You don't know the guy, so stop acting like you do. Kyle Long, Brandon Marshall, Kevin White, Jordan Howard, and Zach Miller are just a few of the guys off the top of my head who have firmly supported Cutler as a teammate over the years, and I trust their opinion a lot more than any idiot fan's.
    At the end of the day, Jay will always be one of the toughest and most athletically gifted QBs. And while he was never quite able to live up to his potential, I will argue tooth and nail that the Bears failed him more than he failed the Bears. That being said, I can recognize that it was time to move on, and I am both excited and nervous about what our future holds. Here's hoping I'm not wishing that we still had Cutler this time next year.

      Great comment. I love Trubisky too but I feel like the bears would be 7-0 right now if Cutler was at QB. How fucked up that the Bears put it all together once it was too late.

    As a Bears fan it drives me crazy to see this man get so much hate. He was an EXTREMELY talented to QB and tough as nails. As Bears fans we never looked to see what we surrounded him with. Terrible O line and coaching for years. Not to mention Hester was his #1 receiver for 3 years! Didn't get him a good a target until B Marshall. Absolutely terrible

    • @artknight3683
      @artknight3683 7 років тому

    • @vidi2845
      @vidi2845 7 років тому

      Valid point but you failed to realise that we didn't surround him with the proper weapons. Can't place the blame all on Cutler. Management has failed us year after year.

      Art Knight a QB can’t change the fact that a team is trash. Look at the damn packers. Rodgers is one of the greatest QBs of all time and the packers are still trash. They haven’t done crap since that SB win in which he was surrounded with a good team.

    ppl forget this man had 3 straight winning seasons with us , he had no O.F line and no weapons and still won games , then Lovie got fired and we lost all 4 of our pro bowl defensive players , instead of fixing the defense , they pumped the offense , which made the bears the 2nd best offense in the league right behind Payton Manning and the broncos , the bears avg 28 pts per game with Cutler that year , but it didn't matter cuz the defense was to terrible , they gave up like 40pts a game , and till this day , the defense has killed the bears .. it's sad that the bears never fixed all the real problems in Chicago . they wasted a good talent ..

    Definitely have mixed feelings but either way I do think it was time to go. I wish him the best of luck. We should go out and get Patrick Mahomes. He could be our future and we'll forget all about Jay Cutler. At the end of the day, Jay is rich and better off than most humans on planet earth. Can't feel too bad for him. I do believe the arrow IS pointing up for the Bears right now. #BearDown

    Love him or not, can we all agree that Jay Cutler did not retire from the Chicago Bears? He got FIRED for crying out loud! Everyone in the media keeps saying he came out of "retirement" to take up to $13 million from the Miami Dolphins. This simply isn't true. He was sacked, cut, TERMINATED from the Bears for poor performance.

    Jay was a divisive presence at Halas Hall. His personality attracts some insecure people who don't want to be on the end of his sharp tongue. It ostracizes those who are his target, but most just mumble "He's an ass, but I gotta work with him." Mike will be so much better for everyone. The Bears can now be a TEAM again.

      reduceuse jay cutler is the biggest pussy I've ever meet. In the NFC championship game he was "injured" and in the 4th quarter he was riding on a god damn Bicycle well the Bears were riding a Green Bay packer dick. If there was a hall of fame for the biggest pussies in the NFL jay cutler would be a first ballot hall of famer.

    • @reduceuse
      @reduceuse 7 років тому +3

      Really Jimmy, you've met him? For some reason, I doubt that. And I'm glad you brought up the bike, because that is easily the biggest misconception that the media perpetuated, and you bought right into it. I'm sure you never bothered to do any actual research, because if you had, you would have seen he was pulled by coaches because he was physically unable to perform, even though multiple teammates confirmed that Cutler argued to try to get back into the game.
      But yeah, one of the only QBs in the game who trucks DBs and LBs instead of sliding is a huge pussy. Do some research and form your own opinions you fool.

    Bears have a terrible front office. If they would've built a real O-line and got some quality defensive players, Cutler would've been able to do more. Look at what they did in the draft. They picked a QB knowing their defense is terrible and the O-line is suspect at best.

    ok i for one will not miss his. you can say what you want about him. but he was a talented QB . with that said he was the worst leader of any football team. he wanted the money got it then sat his butt on the bench. he was the life sucking suck-u-bus. no energy. never a leader. just looked like a bumb. none of his teammates wanted to play with him or for him. claim the officancive line but why should they want to play . when Jay was out and hurt the line stepped up why? because they had a reason too. now look at receivers. Jay put no time into the young wide receivers. and he hung them out to dry. with over thrown gun slinger style he tryed to be. bottom line Jay Cutler could have been an ok/good QB . but he got the money then got lazy. you say good by I say good radiance.

    Jay's first "analysis" makes it all about HIS own failed career. Cry-baby! Shoot, if he could have done it, he would have. Who is going to listen to this loser? Then calls him a "kid." "If it's going downhill, I don't really see any reason to play the kid, Until you've got some people around you, it's hard to win football games in this league as a quarterback."
