I came across your video a few years ago, soon after I finished my second 10km race. At the time, how anyone can run four times the distance was beyond my comprehension.
But I LOVED this video. The excitement and trepidation of running a marathon was tangible, and I soon started dreaming about running a full marathon one day. I watched this video countless times whenever I felt unmotivated or before I had to tackle my long run.
Well, two years and two half marathons later, I ran my first marathon last October! And this May I completed my second and qualified for Boston.
I feel like I've come a long way, and I owe it to your video for planting a seed in my head.
I look forward to the day when I can finally run the NYC marathon where it all started. Thank you!

Came across your video years ago. It's been great inspiration. Was supposed to run in 2020, and 44 days from now will finally run it. I will be watching your video one last time before the race starts. Perfect combination of footage and music. It motivates and hits you right in the feels : )

I love this video!!! I just completed my 1st marathon in October and the emotions running through me are captured perfectly in this video, from the pre-dawn training to the miles upon miles on the course and the crossing of the finish line!! I can't wait to run New York!!!

I checked back into this video after a long time. I played this video a lot during preparation for my first marathon in 2013 at Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. I have now done 5 marathons and 2 ultra marathons.

I am running the 2014 New York City Marathon, I cannot even describe the feeling and the anxiety I go through every time I think about it. OMG the feeling of being able to qualify for such race, the emotions and this video just makes me go nuts.... I'm wondering who sings it and what's the name of the song?

Loved this ❤️ NYC was my first and only Marathon so far in 2016, and I came across this during my training. It really pulled me through and gave me confidence and inspiration. Now when I look back on it I cry because that was one of the greatest days of my life ❤️

I ran half marathon looong time ago, one of the important things of working out was this video, it moved me to the bones. Today I saw again, and it got me as it was the first time I saw it. Came to the conclusion to start running again after quarantine. We need extra positive neurotransmisors today, stay safe!

I had the go-pro on a wrist strap but mostly held it in my hand. The video was slowed down, slow motion helps smooth it out.

EXCELLENT! good choice of songdoing my first marathon in Berlin this September (I'm a mid-distance runner so this is outside my comfort zone) but i can't wait. I am always intensely moved by people testing their physical and mental stamina and strength and i am so f#*@ing excited to be a part of something so brilliant

This video made me want to run the ing new york city marathon. This year I missed it by 71 and 34 seconds to qualify. Marathon is hard :-)

Paris , Madrid and London holding their marathons in Sept, Oct and Nov. WTF! Protesters, rioters and occupy city hall ok, but a Nov race out in fresh air is murder. This is not like delaying the release of a movie, this is real life and a lot can happen in a year. I feel bad for runners that might miss their only chance to run in the NYC marathon. We have gone from NY strong to NY soft. We are better than this New York.
