@@streamsayyestoheavenit wasnt, the curse Will still go on.. Killing Emma and just this whole chapter was just putting the curse to sleep, it comes back EVERY year..

The whole curse didn't end unless after emma's death, Maybe the graveyard atmosphere faded away?
