It's crazy how many characters this game predicted before Smash Wii U!
This was made 2008 so it could’ve came out before brawl but I’m not sure
Super Smash Flash 2 has better sprites and better combo system in my opinion. That being said, Crusade has A LOT more characters, and some effects (like fire effects) are better in Crusade. So, I don't know which of them I like the most :D Both of 'em are great Smash fan-games!

The problem with smash flash is that it's poorly coded and the physics engine is complete garbage. The framerate is awful as well.
Never played crusade but this looks WAY smoother.
Also their isn't a dynamic combo system in ANY smash game.
Dylan Smith i played Crusade 9.0 and flash 2 0.9b, and flash 2 is way more better, i mean in crusade is hard to get off of a plataform and chage controls, dash, smash attack and bad charecter sprites

you do realize that this version of crusade is very old right? the crusade team made massive improvements to the character sprites and final smashes. Go check it out

The graphics, mechanics, and movement are horrible. The knockback is ridiculous and looks ridiculous. This is why Super Smash Flash 2 is better:
•It has better sprites
•It has fluid movement
•You can combo and it is a bit fast-paced for competitive play
•It now allows you to edit matches (Ex. Big characters, slow movement, invisible characters, etc.)
•It has amazing graphics and mechanics for a Flash Game
•The roster makes sense. It has Nintendo characters, but has a wise choice of both third and fourth party characters
•Tails has a better Final Smash
•Megaman has a better Final Smash
•Captain Falcon, Pikachu, Jigglypuff, Fox, Bomberman, Meta Knight, Link, and Yoshi all have better Final Smashes visual wise
•Wario has a better Final Smash
•It has better levels
Over all, Super Smash Flash 2, is way better than this garbage. The creator should've done what McLeoding did, and focus on quality before quantity. It makes no sense to add so many characters, yet have broken gameplay.
In the new update i like crusade better than ssf2 XD the old versions of crusade looked horrible but i never played them the new update is first time i played but this version is awesome

The sprite animation in this game is AWFUL but it has more characters to play, but most characters are over powered or there smash is broken (like tails smash and raymans). Super smash flash 2 has better animation, has fewer characters (a LOT fewer) but now allows online pvp, I wont say all characters are equal however.
This day ssb game is awful in a FEW characters just look at ssb4 roster. It is really huge as well as ssbc.and you should play ssbc 0.9 version. They rebuilt everything and i was surprise that version isnt called ssbc2 lol just go ahead
